Dear,
The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and for women candidate is 152 cm and 42 kg. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height is relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height. Under NDA Physical Requirements, the minimum acceptable height is 152 for Army and 162.5 cms for Air Force.

i am a school student who want to ask if we take basic math then we can write the NDA exam ???
Hi Rohan!
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every year, twice. The exam is conducted for admissions to the prestigious NDA for all the three services ie army, navy and Air force. This exam is conducted in two levels, first written exam which is followed by SSB. NDA exam basically includes three defence services: Army, Air force and Navy. If you wish to join Army, then candidates need to qualify 10+2 (with any subjects, even without maths). But if you wish to join Navy or air force then you need to take mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects.
Also, in exam (if you choose mathematics), then exam will also include questions from mathematics which means only basic mathematical concepts won't help you cracking the exam.
Hope I cleared your dilemma, thankyou!
what if I take biology as an additional subject with PCM as my main subject and I get failed in biology so am I able to give my NDA exam? and what are the criteria for my percentage in boards?
