Hello Aspirant,

See upper age limit for NEET was 25 years as decided by the competent authorities but few years back a petition was filed challenging the upper age limit for NEET and the verdict is still pending so until the verdict comes, there will be no upper age limit for NEET.

For now NEET UG counselling won't be disrupted and it will be continued as per the eligibility criteria issued by MCC. Even if the verdict comes this year then too it would be implemented from NEET 2022 or later on.

NEET 2022 eligibility criteria is given below :

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
