NTA allows the candidates to make corrections or edit few particulars in NEET UG application form. You can change your father's occupation when the correction window opens. As of now the schedule for NEET UG correction is not released. As the last date to apply for NEET UG 2022 has been extended till May 15, 2022 the correction window is expected to be opened after May 15, 2022. So please keep an eye on updates from time to time. You need to correct the details within the given time. Correction facility is a one time facility so please check the information before submitting it during the correction period. To make the corrections you need to login in the candidate portal with your login credentials.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has published a notice on NEET UG 2022 official on May 1, 2022 about the NEET UG application form. As per the notice published the last date to apply for NEET UG 2022 has been extended till May 15, 2022. So the candidate who wish to appear for NEET UG 2022 need to apply for it on or before May 15, 2022 before 9 PM and the application fee can be paid till 11:50 PM on May 15, 2022. (https://nta.ac.in/) If you have filled in any incorrect information or uploaded any incorrect document during the registration of the NEET 2022 application form, you need not worry. The NTA opens a NEET correction window facility wherein applicants can edit the incorrect information which they have previously filled if any. As of now, the dates of the opening of the correction facility have not been announced yet.

It is ok only if the marksheet that you have uploaded is clearly legible then there is no need to change it and if there will be any discrepancy in any of the images that you have uploaded in NEET UG 2022 Application form then NTA will notify you before rejecting your application and will provide you time to correct it, then you can correct it. Otherwise there is no need to correct it.

Correction window for NEET UG 2022 will be opened after the application process gets over i.e. after May 6th, 2022. When it will get opened then you can follow the given procedure to make correction in your NEET UG 2022 application :-

See in the section of class 10th details you need to enter the class 10th roll number and in the section of class 12th you need to enter the class 12th roll number, there is no need to confuse yourself. However class 11th details are not mandatory so you can also opt to leave it.

Complete NEET UG 2022 Application process is explained below in very easy steps :-

** Very first step is to visit the official website as given above and click on "New registration" button.

** Then you have to do registration using your basic details such as name, father's name, mother's name, contact details and so on.

** Now on second menu item you will have to fill details like your academic performance, address, ID type, medium of question paper and so on.

** Then on Next menu item you have to upload some images such as :-

i. >>>>>>> The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

ii. >>>>>>> Scanned photographs, signature, and Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impression should be in JPG format (clearly legible).

iii. >>>>>>> Scanned Category Certificate (if applicable), Citizenship Certificate (if applicable), and PwD Certificate (wherever applicable) should be in pdf format (clearly legible).

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, as you have are having difference of address in two documents so you are suggested to make it even or same in both the documents else it can create problem at the time of counselling or admissions as any discrepancy can cause cancellation of admissions also.

It won't create any problem but as per the instructions of NTA you should put the same name as mentioned in your class 10th passing certificate so if it consists of your surname then you should enter it and don't worry you can correct it during NEET UG 2022 correction window. Correction window will be opened once the application process ends i.e. after May 6th, 2022.

When it will get opened then you can follow the given procedure to make correction in your NEET UG 2022 application :-

As your category is listed in central list of reservation of OBC so you should fill your category as OBC-NCL in NEET UG 2022 application form.

NOTE : --- OBC-NCL certificate that is to be uploaded in the NEET UG 2022 application form, should have been issued on or after January 1st 2022 according to the latest guidelines of Government of India. In case you fail to upload it (issued on or after January 1st, 2022) at the time of registration then the OBC candidate has to upload a declaration [Declaration in Lieu of OBC-NCL Certificate as per Appendix - XB in Information bulletin] to that effect. Visit http://www.ncbc.nic.in for the latest guidelines and updates on the Central List of State-wise OBCs.

****** During counselling process there will be a document verification before admission in any college and during that time you should have your latest and valid certificate.

See nomadic tribes are reserved under OBC category at national level but you should once check the central reservation list available at official website of NCBC and if your category is listed there then you should opt your category as OBC-NCL in NEET application form otherwise kindly fill your category as General category.

It is not sure whether NTA send message regarding wrong image of thumb impression or not but if it is in the same format as mentioned in the information bulletin of NEET UG 2022,then it won't create any problem :-

If you get a mail Or you know that you have not uploaded the impressions as per above template then you can correct it during NEET correction window which will open after May 6th, 2022 once the application process gets over.
