if we issue linguistic certificate for neet counselling we get medical seat only in that reservation college or we will get medical seat in other college also
Hello,
The mbbs/bds admissions in India are based on NEET scores. The expected cutoff for NEET 2020 is as follows:
Category | Cut Off Percentile | Cut Off Score | Number of Candidates |
---|---|---|---|
Unreserved | 50 th | 701 – 134 | 704335 |
OBC/ SC/ ST | 40 th | 133 – 107 | 90243 |
Unreserved – PH | 45 th | 133 – 120 | 266 |
OBC/ SC/ ST – PH |
40 th |
119 – 107 |
388 |
Such linguistic certificates for neet counselling will consider you under the reserved category while other medical colleges will consider you as a general category student.
(These liguistic certificates will give you an edge over other in that particular college only)

I have filled my neet ug 2020 form as fathers name with (eg.Ramesh Kumar Sahu) which is same as UIDAI card but my 10th marksheet it is ( Ramesh Kr Sahu) will it create problem for me during neet counselling /while taking exams will my admit card come considering this year they have 10 the result
It is important to fill the NEET application according to the details the same way they show in your 10th class marks sheet. But if you have filled it according to UIDAI Card, please get an affidavit stating that both the names Ramesh Kr Sahu and Ramesh Kumar Sahu belong to the same person and in fact they are the names of the same person. This will not create any problem during counselling or admission process because you have a supporting document. This is necessary because NTA has closed its correction window on May 31st and you cannot make any changes to your application form now. NTA also doesn't entertain any requests for changes in the application form. So the only next better thing is to get an affidavit done. A local advocate can get this done for you. . How many percentage is there for the ex service men quota during the neet counselling in tamil nadu?
Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Tamilnadu has 1-3% reservation for Ex-servicemen quota in State Counselling. And so you will need atleast 550 and above for a seat under this Quota. I am from north but read in Andhra for class 8 to 12 in AU region. am I eligible for state neet counselling in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka
Hello Aspirant,
To be eligible for Andhra Pradesh state counselling, you should have studied in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 7 consecutive years in 2 or more local areas.
But if you have studied in Andhra Pradesh from 8to 12th, which is only 5 years and hence you are not eligible for participating in Andhra Pradesh state NEET Counselling.
But if either of your parents have been employed with State or Central Government, then you are eligible for 15% unreserved seats of AU region.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Actually,i had recently completed by 12th examination in medical &. I dont know what to do
Hi Aadil,
There is no need to get worried if you see your friends or acquaintance going to their colleges. First and foremost you need to relax your nerves and calm yourself down because I am being brutally honest with you that the coming time may break you and you may feel betrayed at times from your near and dear ones. You need to introspect. What you see yourself doing with all your devotion? It may take time and there high chances of failure in them too. If possible try to look out for any opportunity which could make you one step closer on whatever thing you wish to do. For eg if you wish to pursue content writing then don't let go any internship just for the reason it being unpaid. Do it. It will help you in building patience and also you'll be able to get the feedback as well. Meanwhile if you did not wish to pursue graduation then you can enroll yourself for DIPLOMA and even if that you don't wish to do then enroll yourself for UG through distance learning. This will help you to keep your mind busy in constructive way while you are on your path of exploration.
Just remember this thing "Better be late than sorry" it will help you a lot in this journey.
All the best!
