I got 489 marks in neet ug 2020 and my domicile state is Up and category is general. Is there any chance to get admission in in BDS in government college?
Hello,
Based upon the marks that you have scored, and for general category, you have better chances for the private colleges to study BDS for state quota seats. Now although the BDS cutoff marks are generally lower than that of MBBS, still for government colleges you have less chances. Check out the NEET 2019 UP cutoffs from the link provided below -

Hello,
You haven't mentioned your category, presuming it to be General as per previous year data under state quota for UR, 580 marks secured a seat in GMCs of Barmer, Dungarpur, Bharatpur and Churu, with your given marks it's difficult to secure a seat in GMC through state quota, and through AIQ the chances are more tough as its cut-offs are comparatively higher than state quota, but you hold chances for government seats in private colleges such as Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre,Geetanjali Medical College,Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences,National Institute of Medical Science & Research,
National University Institute for Medical Sciences & Research Centre, check out previous year cut-offs at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-rajasthan
Cut-offs are subjective to change every year based on multiple factors like seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.

Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, with this score the Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in:
- Era Medical College
- Muzaffarnagar Medical College
- Rohilkhand Medical College
You might get Govt. Quota seat in Private Medical Colleges in your Stae. GMCs are difficult. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. I am expecting 539 marks in neet ug 2020 and belongs to general category and female my domicile is from up. Is there any hope of getting seats in mbbs in any government college of UP Or government colleges in other states through All India quota.
Hello Aspirant,
See it is little bit difficult to guide you with the exact name of colleges because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as number of candidates appearing in an examination, number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of paper and so on.
But although according to the marks and category you have mentioned in the question you have very low chances of getting into any of the Government Medical Colleges but yes you have chances for Private colleges and Deemed Universities. Note that this prediction is on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-
