I am a maths student and never read biology in last 4 years. Is it compoulsory to clear the sectional cuttoff of biology in the NEST exam?
Hello,
To qualify for admission a candidate must score sectional cut off marks and overall cut off marks as well. For admission to NISER Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score is calculated for all 4 sections separately so it is mandatory to attempt questions from all the sections. For admission in to CEBS Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score for any 3 subjects so you can skip attempting question from Biology section.
