Sir/mam in which year new education policy appiled in school
Dear,
New Policy aims for universalise of education from pre-school to secondary level with 100 % Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in school education by 2030.
The Education Minister has asked for suggestions on the implementation of NEP 2020 and it seems that the implementation would come in effect from next year.
New education policy will not be implemented immediately because it takes time to change in the content of books and new books in particular areas and the teaching way will also be need to change so it takes time.
In new education policy it was told no board exam for std 10 then why are they planning to keep board exams in 2021
Hello,
National Education Policy is yet to be implemented, until and unless this comes into force all the ideas put forward by the respective committee involved in the decision making remains standstill and NEP brings forth the core idea of having a holistic reforms in the education arena as well as focusing on student's overall development that goes beyond the realm of academics with strong emphasis on intrinsic values growth and other various aspects, it replaces old policy which happened thirty-four years ago, hence to answer your question all the proposed plans of NEP will become effective once it gets implemented which hasn't happened yet.
when will the new education policy be implemented after 2030 to colleges
Hi student!
An NEP is a comprehensive framework to guide the development of education in the country.
Addressing the nation on 74th Independence Day, PM Modi stated that the New Education Policy will play an important role in making India self-reliant. According to him, the NEP has been introduced with an aim objective to strengthen research and innovation in the country.
The NEP only provides a broad direction and is not mandatory to follow. Since education is a concurrent subject (both the Centre and the state governments can make laws on it), the reforms proposed can only be implemented collaboratively by the Centre and the states. This will not happen immediately. The incumbent government has set a target of 2040 to implement the entire policy. Sufficient funding is also crucial; the 1968 NEP was hamstrung by a shortage of funds.
The government plans to set up subject-wise committees with members from relevant ministries at both the central and state levels to develop implementation plans for each aspect of the NEP. The plans will list out actions to be taken by multiple bodies, including the HRD Ministry, state Education Departments, school Boards, NCERT, Central Advisory Board of Education and National Testing Agency, among others. Planning will be followed by a yearly joint review of progress against targets set.
Thank you!
when will the new education policy come into effect for colleges
The New Education Policy has multiple exit plans for students studying in college. It was approved by the Union Cabinet of India on 29 July 2020. The sudden implementation of any new policy is a little bit difficult. It is said that the New Education Policy would be implemented by the year 2030.
when will colleges apply the new education policy completely
Schools and colleges will start to prepare for national education policy from 2021. First, the changes in the board structure, exam pattern will be applied in temporary manner in order to find effectives and to find out odds of it. After successful implementation of this, final policy will be implemented from 2022. The entrance exams of various courses with NEP will be help from 2022.
Hope, you will find this helpful.

since which year shall new education policy be implemented in degree colleges
Though NEP has been approved, its so vast that it can't be implemented immediately, but gradually.
Some colleges and universities might start adapting few parts of policy from next academic year but not whole at once. The transition has to be smooth and trainings will setup for teachers regarding the policy. So it will take some time as of now.
since which year is the new education policy applicable to colleges
Hello
Naresh Nadkarni
, From some research on internet I found that the New education policy will not be implemented immediately because it takes time to change in the content of books and new books in particular areas and the teaching way will also be need to change so it take time and government has set up a target of 2040 to implement the entire NEP policy.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
has the new education policy been implemented in Maharashtra
Hi Naresh.
The new education policy (NEP) is just passed in the parliament, which means it is approved to be implemented. But as soon as it was approved, we were under complete lockdown and we couldn't conduct schools regularly. So, implementing NEP can initially be only subjected to trial in some institutions. And since we don't have any institutions running regularly now, we wouldn't know anything about it.
The answer is NO. We don't have the NEP implemented anywhere in INDIA yet. But it expected to be implemented from the academic year of 2021. But only if we are completely unlocked and we are to attend schools regularly.
I hope I answered you.
