I am 12th passed student . I was not able crack jee this year so I am thinking of taking a year drop. will it be a useless or not worth and I am afraid of not getting IIT next year so please help me ?
Hello Chandan,
First of all please be calm down that you were unable to crack your JEE examination this year.
Now, first of all congratulations that you are just 12th passed right now. Because, as you are a fresher you are still young to at least push yourself to give a second chance to your self . Every one deserves a second chance in his/her life to succeed. So, just go for it. Do n't overthink that you should take a drop or not .
Reasons why you should go for Second Chance or a year drop :-
- You're younger to give yourself a second chance.
- You will not lose anything in a year rather with the experience of past you can score good marks next time.
- Chances to get good IITs or NITs or engineering college increases with your experience in the field.
- This time you know which chapter you need to work hard on.
- You can practice more MCQs this time.
- As you have read all the Subjects in past two years (11th & 12th) you have idea of all chapters that which is easy for you to learn, which will take less time for you to read and understand, which chapter you need most number of practice.
You should absolutely not worry about future but just give your best.
If you just keep thinking about your selection that may lead to demotivation and that will result in bad preparation for your exam. So, please don't overthink .
Remember, your work is to do consistent hard work, destiny will come to you at any cost .
So, your question that you should take a year drop or not is absolutely YES! Don't be afraid about your IIT Selection. If you work hard in a right way you will get your dream college for sure .

I gave Jee Mains this year as General category student bcz I didnt have OBC certificate this year. Can I give Jee mains next year as a OBC student
If you belong to OBC category and you have a community certificate to represent as a prove and a non creamy layer certificate to prove that you belong to OBC NCL category then you can definitely right JEE mains next year in OBC category.
Since you have already applied in general category this year your rank list will be published in general category. You can't change that. If as mentioned about you have a proof of your category to submit then you can definitely right JEE mains in OBC category
Hope this helps

i am 22 years old and 2nd year bsc student, have been trying to crack neet since 3 years, 2023 will be my 4th attempt, should I go for mbbs if i qualify neet next year to become a doctor which would take 11-12 years or should I give UPSC, SSC etc government exams after completing Bsc ?
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!
See it really depends on your goal. If you wish to become a doctor then you should definitely go for MBBS. You have to set a goal in your mind to reach there.
My advice to you would be to go for MBBS if you qualify for neet which you have wanted from the very begining right. Lets invest 2-3 years more where you have already invested 4 years. So yoi should go for MBBS.
However, if you wish to go for UPSC or some other exam then it would also require some time. Its not gonna happen very quickly. But if you have the confidence in you that you can clear it in the first attempt then you should go for UPSC.
It all depends on the goal that you have in mind. Set a goal and work hard to approach that goal.
Hope my answer would help and if you have any further queries ask them in the comments section.
