I have got 25225 rank in comedk 2019. Is this rank below the closing rank for ISE or ECE at NMIT Bangalore? Can I get seat for those courses
Hi, according to the cutoff ranks of Nitte Meenakshi institute of technology last year ranks upto 18,000 was admitted to the ece branch and rank upto 12,000 was admitted in the ise branch of NMIT , Bangalore. According to this data your rank is low regarding previous year cutoff ranks so you have less chance of getting a seat.

Your rank is quite good but it's still would be pretty diifcult for you to get CSE in NMIT,Bangalore. It all comes down to the result of the other candidiates and the category from which you belong. Here are some of the cutoffs from 2018:-
General - 5700 General Merit Hyderabad - 6950 3A General - 7500 3B General - 7700 1 General(a & b) - 10500 3B Hyderabad - 11198 General Merit Kannada - 11559 2A General - 11651 General Merit Rural - 12650

Yes, actually placement is really good in this college for ECE branch, and if you have some skills then you will definitely get placed off campus too easily. Go for this college as of now.

Hope you are doing well. With this rank, you may get a seat for Chemical Engineering in Nitte Meenakshi Institute Of Technology, but you cannot get a seat for ECE in NMIT. Previous year the cutoff rank for ECE in Nitte Meenakshi Institute Of Technology was 16,558 after second round of seat allotment. Even this year, it is expected to be the same. But you can try your luck for Chemical Engineering in NMIT. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

Should I take ISE in RNSIT or ISE in Nitte minkashi or CSE in CMRIT.
CSE and ISE courses are good. But CSE has more demand than any other branch. So I would suggest you CSE from CMRIT than ISE from Nitte Meenakshi or RNSIT.

Firstly,congratulations on that rank. Your confusion is clearly justified.Every year we ate all confused in choosing CSE OR ISE/IT. But you got to decide this for yourselves.For a minute,leave behind the thought of over rated CSE courses and placement,just go through the course structure of both CSE and ISE. There are differences in their structure. I too did this before taking up the college. Look in their course structure,what interests you and then take up that course.

Hello Kalpak,your marks are lying in tbe range of 35-36k which means you are not eligible for the Nitte Meenakshi Institue of Technology,Banglore because the maximum closing ranks goes upto 18k and that too for Civil engineering.So,i suggest you to look for other colleges.
