I have got 88 percent in class 12 and 78 percentile in jee mains rank 200100 . Can i get cs or it in jaypee noida. Please help
Hello,
The admission is done on the basis of two modes that is class 12th and on the basis of jee mains scores.
So, your jee percentile is a bit low so it's better if you go through your 12th boards. As per the previous year trends the advisable rank that should be kept in jee mains is 45-50k for the top branches .
But as per your percentile your rank would be around 1.4L so it's difficult to get through this rank. Certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper determines the cut offs.
which college is best for cs branch placement wise psit kanpur or galgotia college of engineering and technology, greater Noida
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has much better placements for computer science engineering students in comparison to pranveer Institute of Technology. Mention below are the placement details of both the colleges.
- The placement percentage of galgotias is 95% where as the placement percentage of pranavi Institute is 88%.
- The highest placement package offered in galgotias is 44 lacs per Annum whereas the highest placement package is 36 lakhs per annum in pranavir Institute
- Microsoft Amazon Wipro are the major recruiters of Computer Science students in pranaveer Institute whereas Tata Consultancy services HCL and Google are the major recruiters of galgotias students.

My waitlist number is 187 in scms noida first merit list , do I have any other chance of admission
Hello,
This waitlist number has a probability of getting you into SCMS Noida if it was yours. However, everything might change in the future.
I make this statement because, in the past, students frequently had a wide range of alternatives available to them because all tests and their results were made public at the same time as those from other universities.
However, IPMAT and DUJAT are the last two major tests left this year, and because they have a lengthy application procedure and many students apply, it will take some time before the results are announced.
Since many private schools have stringent refund policies and only grant refunds until the date indicated, it is possible that the date of the DUJAT results will be later than the day of refunds for Scms. In this case, many students would reserve their seats as a backup until the time of results, but since they would then have to lose their money, they would remain in the institution.
Thus, it is a potential scenario. I'm simply imagining the worst-case scenario, so hold onto hope.
Good Luck!!
