Placement in VIT is same for all category students. The only difference in category students is fees they paid. If Money is not constrain, then I would say VIT is better than JIIT in most of the aspects like Placements, Reputation, Oppurtunities etc. However if you want it stay close to home and want to spend less money, then JIT would be fine as it also has good placements for CSE.

In terms of placements, colleges has been ranked/arranged as:

DGI > VGI > IEC group of institutions

DGI, Greater Noida provides good number of placement opportunities especially to the students of CSE in the companies such as  Byju's,TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Daffodil, Planet spark, Lodo, ZIGRAM, etc.  Infosys, Wipro, etc.  with highest salary package upto 22 LPA.

VGI College provides placement with 2.5 - 3.5 LPA average salary package in the companies TCS, Wipro , Infosys,  Techvara Solutions , Vivo etc.

IEC offers less placement opportunities than above mentioned colleges in the companies HCL Technologies, Infosys, TCS,  etc with average salary package ranging between 1.6 LPA  3 LPA.

Placements: The placement records and the placement cell are impressive here because they organise useful and up-to-date seminars from time to time. Therefore the placement record is one of the best in Greater Noida. Last year the placement record was 98%. Placements start from the 7th semester. So, I suggest all the students to take admission to this college. Many MNCs also came like amazon, TCS, and many others big companies.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here like a lab, Wi-Fi, classrooms, library as well as incubation centre. IEC provides all the facilities to students who are interested in the entrepreneurship sector. They provide working space, a cabin for meetings and free Wi-Fi for work.
