NRI quota to take addmission in delhi university btech program
Dear Aspirant,
To take admission through NRI quota you have provide the necessary documents for further proceeding in the admission. The quota reserved in NRI quota for admission into DU for B.Tech programme is 5%.
• An applicant having an OCI card and studying throughout in India will be considered as a “Foreign National”.
• Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Indian Citizen whose qualifying examination is from an International Board/ Foreign University will NOT BE CONSIDERED as Foreign National.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!

for nri quota is my fathers first cousins relation valid?
Hello,
No your father cousin relation is not valid for NRI quota dear.
As per the guidelines set by the Supreme Court of India, here are the eligibility criteria for NRI Quota:
- One of the parents must be an NRI residing abroad.
- The person sponsoring the education must be an NRI residing outside India and a first-degree relation with the student.
That means for government rules your one of the parents must be an NRI residing . But you didn't mention why you ask this question. If you want to know about the NEET examination then i like to tell you there are no NRI quota in NEET examination but NRI candidates are applying for examination and admission as NRI category.
All the best.
Hi..my friend put a yes at NRI quota at NEET pg 2021 exam by mistake..tomorrow is the last date of the correction portal..but there is no way to change the NRI option to make it no,...so Im scared..what to do next??...plz kindly help me.. so that I can help my friend.
Did you able to figure it out. If yes... please help me to make the change. Even I made the same mistake.
I am a student with OCI card (USA citizen), but studying in Bangalore since KINDERGARTEN till 12th Grade. I would like to know my eligibility criteria for admission into PES University through PESSAT EXAM and JEE exam ( if I will go under general category or NRI quota).
hi,
see in case, an individual has been living in India for minimum 182 days in the previous financial year or has resided in India for 60 days in a particular year and has lived in India for a minimum of 365 days in the last four years is considered to be a Resident of India. since you have completed your 12th grade from Indian state you do not belongs to NRI quota. see In nri quota there is less number of candidates, so competition levels seems lower than other category seats, but fees structure for NRI quota is high compare to any other category.
so I suggest you to apply as general category.
hello, can I complete the mbbs in telangana in nri quota with 80-90 lakhs??
Hello
MBBS is a 5 and a half year course (including one year internship) and the fees for NRI Quota in Telanagana by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal is Rs 23 – 28 Lakhs/Year. Evn if we take it to be 23 lakh per year the fees amounting is coming to more than 11500000 hence it is not possible to do it within 90 lakh as you mentioned in telangana.
I am doing my IGCSE abroad, if i go to India to study +1 and +2 and if appear for NEET, do i have a chance of getting MBBS seat in general quota ? or does it have to be in NRI quota?
Hello,
If you are staying outside in India and complete your 10th and 12th then you are a NRI candidate. If you want to give NEET you can give it. But in admission process you have to admitted here as a NRI candidate. So when you have to fill the form fill as a NRI candidate not a general candidate. Then any problems will not occur in your admission dear. Prepare yourself for NEET examination.

Is it possible for a candidate to apply, In one college NRI Quota in Another college Management Quota.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well,
NRI category candidates are eligible to apply for Management Quota seats as well.
See if you belongs to Indian state then you cannot apply to NRI quota because in NRI Quota only those aspirants are eligible who were the residents of India earlier but now settled in abroad due to some work or if the aspirant is born in abroad but his/her parents were the residents of India earlier. Now in the case if you belongs to abroad but fulfil the conditions for NRI Quota then you can apply for NRI Quota.
