If I have to choose between E&C from NITK, Suratkal and CSE from NSUT, Delhi which is a better option. Kindly help to make a choice
Hello Kavi,
Both NITK, Surathkal and NSUT are excellent colleges to go for. So your choice should be entirely based on the branch you wish to pursue, rather the branch that inspires you the most. If you, however, don't have any such preference in branches, considering the current trend and placement scenario, it is advisable to choose CSE in NSUT.
Hope this helps.
can i get admission in ipu ,nsut or dtu if i have 3lakh crl rank and 99k obc category rank in jee mains ?
i get 76 percetile in jee mains in obc category can i get it in nsut west campus i am a delhi candidate?
hi,
see cutoff score varies every year and it depends on the determining factors like number of applicant from any particular category, difficulty level of exam, choice of stream, seat matrix etc. so it is quite difficult to suggest the category wise ranking since it varies as per year wise.
last year closing rank for (obc category) NSIT is as follows:
biotechnology- 71570
B.Tech Computer Engineering- 2734
Computer science and engineering- 3347
Electrical Engineering-24931
B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering- 15264
B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering Internet of Things- 11065

I got obc ncl rank 44000 in jee mains.can i get a seat in DTU or NSUT? I am from outside Delhi region.
Hi aspirant since you have 44000 as your OBC NCL category rank so according to that there are somehow less chances for you to get into any of the colleges you have mentioned in your question.
But in place of that you can search for other good college. For this you can also try college predictor tool by careers360(link mentioned below);

I am getting 3,50,000 crl in jee mains from sc category can i get into igdtuw ?Or dtu nsut any branch?
Hello Aspirant! With this rank of yours, even though you're from SC category, it's quite difficult for you to get admission in DTU or NSUT as both are top colleges in Delhi and accept students with high rank. You must be having a rank under 1,00,000 in SC category for getting any lower branch in these colleges. However, you can use the below link for predict your college with this rank:

What are the placement and workload of Instrumentation and control engineering in NSUT...?
ICE at nsut is comparatively a new branch with an updated syllabus it can be considered as a sub branch of ece. Talking about workload like every engineering branch it requires dedication and hardwork sometimes depending upon your work area it may require field work other than coding. Placements are decent and many tech companies allow ice students to sit in their placements but some may not allow overall it is a good branch to pursue engineering.
Sir...mu son got 43747 rank ...we belong to general category...Can we get a chance for ICE branch in NSUT, delhi. And please clear which is the better branch...ICE or Electrical
Congratulations on the rank secured by your son. We know he performed his level-best, but unfortunately, his rank will probably not be good enough to get a seat in either Civil or Electrical engineering disciplines in NSUT, Delhi (judging from previous years' cut-offs). But NSUT offers other disciplines that he is surely eligible of with his rank. Please find attached the detailed cut-offs for all streams for NSUT, Delhi, here:

To answer your second question- Drafting a comparison between Civil and Electrical disciplines would not be legitimate. Both of them are core engineering courses and have wide scopes in future if pursued in a dedicated manner. However, in my (an electrical engineering student's) opinion, Electrical engineering has slightly better job opportunities in India compared to Civil. Wishing you luck, thank you. :)
