I have doubt, I have completed 12th in 2022,but I am not prepared for jee main in 2022,so if I directly give jee main in 2023 without appearing in 2022 to get admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW) will I face any problems for admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW)in 2023?
Hello,
You can take a year gap and prepare of JEE Mains 2023 you will not face any problems in admissions. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to conduct JEE Main 2023 exam twice. The authorities will release the application form of JEE Main 2023 at jeemain.nta.nic.in tentatively in November 2022. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. Joint Entrance Examination 2023 is likely to be held in January and April 2023.
Can I get any NIT or IIIT with 60k as sc category rank also my CRL rank is low?? which rank matter for JOSAA-CRL rank or category rank?? or can I get NSUT or DTU or IGDTUW with 60k rank as sc category rank for any branch ? Please respond to my question
Greetings!
Firstly the system of category rank and CRL is a bit too complex, and is out of scope of this answer, although what you need to know is, that with category rank you can get better colleges and therefore that is considered in counselling.
Now coming to NSUT or DTU or IGDTUW, I don't think so that you have any significant shot at any of them at this rank, specially if you don't have "Home state" quota, if you have that, then maybe there is a slight possibility of getting something like "manufacturing" or/and "production" engineering.
Although you might have chance in other colleges, and for that you can use the following rank predictor too

Can I get NSUT or DTU with 60k as sc category rank but my CRL rank is low- outside Delhi
Dear Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to predict the exact situation as it varies every year based on the number of students attempting the exam, the preferences of the students etc.
Looking at the previous year trends we can say that the category cutoff for getting least preferred branch in NSUT has been around 5.5 K and DTU has been around 6 K.
Hence it is really difficult to get into these colleges with your rank.
In my options, please look for private colleges that accept other modes of admission like board exam or other entrance examinations. It might be quite difficult to get into any college with just your JEE results.
Yet, to see what all possibilities you have, please check the college predictor link below.
Hope this helps.
please confirm me, I have doubt, I have completed 12th in 2022,I have taken Hindi Core instead of computer science as a subject in 12th so can I will be eligible for JAC delhi counseling and admission in JAC delhi colleges (DTU,NSUT,IGDTUW)in 2023?
Hello,
The most well-known admissions counselling procedure utilised to decide admission to the best government institutions supported by the Delhi Government for B. Tech, B. Arch, and other programmes is known as JAC Delhi.
When considering candidates for admission, all JAC Delhi 2022 member institutes adhere to a set of admission norms and procedures. Three prerequisites for JAC Delhi 2022 entrance exist, though:
Candidates seeking to enrol in B.Tech programmes at establishments like NSUT, DTU, and IGDTUW would be qualified to do so based on their performance in JEE Main 2022 - Paper 1.
Students will also be selected for admission to the IGDTUW B.Arch programme based on their performance on JEE Main 2022 Paper 2.
Admission to IIIT-D will also be based on candidates' percentile scores in JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 as well as additional points for success in Olympiads, sports, culture, innovation, and other fields.
As you requested,
You meet the requirement of having a passing certificate from the CBSE-administered 10+2 test or an equivalent examination, hence you are qualified for admission to JAC Delhi Colleges.
Thank You

- EEE
- ECE
- ICE
- ME

if JEE mains percentile is 87.643 then what is the chances to get admission in NIT or IIIT or DTU or NSIT or NSUT in general catagery
hello aspirant,
With the above mentioned percentile in GENERAL Category in JEE mains, your overall predicted rank will be around 126852 - 142600 . Now looking at the previous year JEE mains Cutoff, you have very difficult chances of getting any NIT or IIIT as the minimum required cutoff for general category students to get good NIT's is around 97-99 percentile.
You also have difficult chances of getting admission in DTU or NSUT as the previous year Cutoff for these colleges is around 95+ percentile.
So, what I may suggest you that you can take admission in most of the private colleges that take admission on the basis of the JEE mains score.

Hello,
The Joint Admission Counselling Delhi, usually referred to as JAC Delhi, is the most popular admission counselling process used to determine admission to the top government universities financed by the Delhi Government for B. Tech, B. Arch, and other programmes.
All JAC Delhi 2022 member institutes follow a set of admission standards/procedures while admitting applicants. However, there are three JAC Delhi 2022 entry requirements:
- Based on their performance in JEE Main 2022 - Paper 1, candidates who seek to enrol in B.Tech courses at institutions like NSUT, DTU, and IGDTUW would be eligible to do so.
- Additionally, students will be chosen for admission to the IGDTUW B.Arch programme depending on how well they score on JEE Main 2022 Paper 2.
- Additionally, candidates' percentile scores in JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 as well as bonus points for accomplishments in Olympiads, sports, culture, innovation, and other areas will be taken into account while determining admission to IIIT-D.
As per your query,
Yes, you are eligibile for admission in JAC Delhi Colleges because the eligibility criteria of possess a passing certificate from the CBSE-administered 10+2 exam or an equivalent examination is completed by you.
Thank You
can i get btech cse in dtu iiitd nsut with 87 percentile and obc certificate
Dear aspirant,
It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, the preparation level of the students and the and the preference of the students.
Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting a rank of about 1.5 L.
With this rank it is quite difficult to get CSE in NSUT, IIITD or DTU
If you belong to the Delhi region you have a good chance of getting Biotechnology, electrical engineering, instrumentation in NSUT. If you don't belong to the Delhi region it is quite difficult to get into these colleges.
For more details please refer to the college predictor.
