i am getting 158 marks in ntse stage 1 karnataka (general) 2021-22. will i have a chance to get shortlisted for ntse stage 2?
Hello,
Last year cutoff NTSE is high. So this year your marks is not proper for getting 2nd stage of NTSE. Because 158 is not bad markd but its low from last year. And you know every year cut-off marks will differ. Infact any year it will be high or any year low. So it's quite difficult to predict that you can go for NTSE stage 2 or not. But genaral candidate cutoff should be 40%.
All the best.
I am getting 157 in ntse karnataka stage 1 general category so can u please tell what may be the cutoff
Hi
It is very difficult to predict whether you will be able to qualify NTSE stage 1 examination or not as qualifying cut off marks or not as cut off marks depends upon a number of factors like
* number of students that appeared in the ntse exam,
*kind of marks obtained by them in ntse examination,
*toughness level of the ntse examination and several other factors.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trends then,
The ntse 2021 karnataka stage 1 expected cut off to be eligible for NTSE stage 2 is given below category wise:-
* General :- 150 - 160 marks
*OBC :- 125 - 135 marks
*SC :- 115 - 125 marks
*ST :- 110 - 120 marks
*PH :- 70 - 80 marks
*EWS:- 80 - 85 marks
You can check the same at
https://school.careers360.com/articles/ntse-karnataka-cutoff
So , with 157 marks you hold a good chance to qualify NTSE stage 1 to be eligible for NTSE 2nd stage as expected cutoff for general category is 150 - 160 marks.
The cutoff of NTSE Karnataka 2021 will be released on its official website i. e kseeb.kar. nic . in.
Thank you
i have attempted ntse karnataka, i am expecting 154 will it be sufficient to qualify the stage 1
