what are the best possible career options after bsc nursing ( other than msc nursing / staff nurse )
Dear student
Nursing is such a noble occupation. After doing bsc nursing if you are further interested you can opt for MSc followed by MPhil and PhD. You can also do a diploma course on various fields such as oncology nursing, neuro nursing, neonatal nursing, operation room nursing, critical care nursing, psychiatric nursing etc., You can opt for MBA in hospital management and Masters in hospital administration. After PhD you can opt for research works. You can also get employment in teaching career in nursing institutions. It all depends on your choice. Options are all around. It depends on your interest . Check for a- grade college and you will get better placements.
All the best.

Hello student Candidate must have passed his 10+2 level exam or its equivalent form a recognized board or authority with atleast 50% marks and as you must know that aiims nursing is only for females. Minimum age limit is 17 years.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
can anybody please tell me , what is the difference between nursing training institution and nursing college ?? are they same or different ?
if you are interested in doing career in nursing related field you can choose either of b.sc nursing or GNM (GENERAL nursing and midwifery) which is a diploma course. for application in b.sc nursing you need to apply in certain entrance test, like for the state of west Bengal jenpaugh is the bsc nursing entrance test. b.sc nursing is a bachelors degree course and after completing b.sc course you can apply for masters courses in management , diploma in medical lab technology etc. GNM is a diploma courses. it is easy to get into a government hospital after completing bsc in nursing rather than doing nursing training from a private institution.
I want to become a military nurse so what could I want to do???
Hello Gayathri, there is a entrance test for the candidates in the month of february. There will be a written test of 100 marks consisting of objective questions. The candidates who pass the written test are called for an interview in delhi. Those who clear the interview would have to sit for a medical examination. After you have cleared all the tests and interviews and deemed FIT in the medical examination, you will be given the post of military nursing service officer.
I there any kind of exam through which a male can work as a doctor or nurse in India army or in BSF or in any kind of India defense system ?????
Prabha, There are 2 ways about it. First way is that you appear for NEET and secure a seat in AFMC and move up the ladder eventually to get posted in the Naval services. DGHS conducts the admissions through All India Counselling. Second way is that you appear for NEET, secure a seat in any Medical College and complete your MBBS and then appear for SSC exams. And then you can get posted as a Doctor in the Navy. This is for MBBS course. At this point in time, there is no provision for Male nurses in the Indian Army. Only female candidates are allowed.

Hi Ajith,
Please be informed that you need to mention the name of the organization or for this matter the name of the hospital or institution where you are inquiring about employment. Unless we have these necessary details we cannot resolve your query.
Nevertheless, you should contact the hospital/ institution in person or visit their official website to check for openings if they are available or drop in your resume at several organizations for employment. Also please refrain from sharing your contact details on this platform as your queries will be resolved by our experts on this platform itself at the earliest.
BEST WISHES!
Sir which course is demanding in future bsc nursing or general nurse and midwifery
Hello,
BSc Nursing will have added advantage over GNM for a number of reasons-
First of all, BSc Nursing is a degree programme while GNM is diploma.
Secondly, opportunities in terms of work wise and growth will be more in case of BSc Nursing, because it being a degree course adds a certainly higher value to one's CV and company and hospitals or other areas of recruiting body will give more preference to this.
Thirdly, for BSc Nursing, it specifically asks for 10+2 from a science background because it's a full-fledged professional course, unlike GNM. So, obviously there's in-depth knowledge provided in BSc Programme, since it makes it compulsory for science students.
Hope, this helps.
