Hello there! I got 20k obc rank and i fall under girls quota is tyere any chance for me to get into NITs ?please help me
Hi
hope you are doing well
While having a JEE rank of 20,000 OBC rank and falling under the girls quota, you have a reasonable chance of securing a seat in some NITs, particularly in branches with lower cutoffs.
some NIT's you can check:
- NIT Nagaland
- NIT Mizoram
- NIT Manipur
- NIT Sikkim
- NIT Arunachal Pradesh
- NIT Meghalaya
- NIT Srinagar
Your chances may improve if you're willing to consider less sought-after branches like Civil, Environmental, or Bioengineering.
Make sure to choose wisely in counselling process, stay updated and keep an eye on Josaa official website.

sir my percentile is 82 in january attempt 2024 and am obc candidate wanting chemical engineering....is it possible to get nit
Hello Student ,
With 82 percentile considering you as obc category candidate you do have chances to get admission according to last year cutoff in NIT Agartala with Chemical engineering and in some GFTIs as well .
On the bais of percentile it is not possible to perdict your exact category rank so I will suggest you to prepare well for April session.
To know about your admission chances in colleges through JoSAA Counselling use JEE College Predictor . The link is given below -

Can i get any NIT or IIIT for cs branch if i get 54 precentie and i am a pwd(obc) candidate
Hello aspirant,
Honestly, 54 percentile score in JEE Mains is too low to get into any NIT or IIT irrespective of which caste or class you belongs to. Jee mains is a very tough exam and the cutoff of IIT and NIT went to 99 percentile. So I suggest you to bounce back, prepare hard and try your best next year.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.

i was born on February 1st 1990 OBC candidate is eligible for 2025upsc exam
Hello,
Yes, candidates born on or after August 2, 1990, are eligible to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in the General category. However, for candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit. The specific age relaxation for OBC candidates may vary from year to year based on UPSC guidelines and government regulations.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you
