In the NEET 2021 application form, my category was UR. Can I apply for the EWS category in my state (Odisha) counselling as I have an EWS (state) certificate now??
Hello,
Well it can't be said clearly if you can or you cannot because, if the categories mentioned are not same, it would lead to too many complications and discrepancies later on , which you definitely don't wish to face.
KIndly confirm it with the counseling authorities before registering for state counseling. Make sure you have a valid category certificate and is signed by competent authority.

I am expecting my neet score to be 150 can i get bhms government college in odisha if i belong to sc category and stay in odisha? If yes then which college is best for bhms in odisha with reasonable fee structure?
Hi,
With the score of 150 marks for sc category getting a seat in government medical college is almost nil and also the chances of private medical colleges through government quota is not possible. So you may try for private colleges for BHMS which might be quite possible. For more information refer to https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp
What will be the NEET safe score to get a seat of Hi-Tech medical college Bhubaneswar or Hi-Tech medical college Rourkela ODISHA for ST category students.? Is 300+ is enough for these colleges..?
Hello Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for NEET 2021
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.
But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of your admission chances in Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar and Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Rourkela.
So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have good chances of getting both the colleges if you secure around 300-310 or more marks in NEET. Because as we go through previous years cut-off data then it shows that the closing cut-off marks were around 308 for Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Rourkela and 329 for Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar under state quota for ST category.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
NEET 2021 Cutoff Odisha - Category & College wise 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017 (careers360.com)
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
