The jee mains eligibility criteria for the year 2024 are as follows -

ihave pcm with english painting and physical education which one i will choose for best out of 5 !??
If i have physics chemistry biology English physical education & painting (6 subjects) so how I will calculate my percentage accurately for which 5 subject i will count?
Hi,
The CBSE board has a best of five rule in which your main percentage is decided by one language subject I.e. English and other 4 subjects in which you get high scores. And the remaining subjects becomes additional whose marks won't be added to your main percentage.
The subject you would score lowest will automatically excluded . So, if you score higher marks in Painting than any of your subject other than English then it would automatically replace the lowest scoring subject .
So, your percentage should calculated by adding marks of English(Mandatory) , Physics , Chemistry , Biology and Physical Education . Let assume you scored lowest in physics it would be replaced by Painting.
Hope this will be helpful.
my aggregate marks is 56% in 12th and marks are:- English 51 painting 83 phe 55 bst 57 economics 60 accountancy 30 am i eligible for mba?
Dear Aspirant,
Since you have scored 56% in 12th, you’re eligible for MBA in many top colleges since your marks should be above 50%. However, some colleges have their eligibility criteria as minimum 60% in 12th, so for those colleges, you won’t be eligible. You should also have minimum 50% in class 10th and graduation to be eligible to give exams like CAT, NMAT, etc. Try scoring above 95%ile to increase your chances of getting in IIMs. Your category also plays a huge role in determining where you will land up.
