How will be our graduation marks be converted into percentage if it is given in cgpa
Hi Prerna!
Greetings!
Good question :)
This depends on the conversion index that your college provides you…for example some colleges give their cinversion index as 10 and some as 9.5 and u just need to multiply your cgpa with that index…
Its better you ask your college authority i. e Punjab University regarding the conversion index and then multiply it with your secured cgpa..
Please upvote if this was helpful to you.
Thank you and good luck .
If our graduation marks are given in cgpa then how will they be calculated in the percentage form?
Hi,
Most of the students get in this confusion. Most of the colleges provide the cumulative grade point and not the percentage, which is asked for post-graduation. The easiest way to calculate your percentage is by dividing your CGPA by the maximum CGPA and multiplying by 100. But this may differ if your college some other system for percentage calculation.
As of for Punjab University, there is no exceptions like that so you can go with the basic method.
I hope I was able to clear your doubt
Thank You

Is there going to be a new merit list after adding graduation marks, or already allotted Marks and ranks in pullb 3yr results is final
No, the already alloted rank to you is not final. As you know that for the process for admission in 3 year LLB, there will be 50% weightage given to graduation marks and 50% weightage given to the entrance test scores. The rank that you have been alloted is only your rank in the entrance test. A new merit list will be released where new and final ranks will be alloted to you after combining 50% of both scores and any weightage if applicable. Admissions will be done based on these final ranks.
Best of luck
I have 403 rank in pu llb entrance exam and 67.48% in my graduation. Is there any possibility of getting admission in the university?
Considering your score in entrance exam is 53.5 and that your Graduation score is 67.48% you seem to have a fair chances for admission in PU overall. Your combined merit score would be around 60 without adding any weightage if any.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite average but your graduation marks are quite decent, so your chances seem fair. There are less chances for Chandigarh campus and better chances for regional centres. So you should wait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate.
Best of luck
