i got 32k rank in neet pg 2021, UR cat,can i get DNB pathology in Apollo or kims Hyderabad
Hey,
According to the Allotment result of DNB Post MBBS Courseling ( Round One ), the last rank under general category to get Pathology was 28053. The institution was Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences Vivekananda puram , Lucknow. So based on this, there is little chance for you to get a seat. Keep in mind that this is based on previous year data and cut offs are subject to vafy every year depending on the number of seats available, performance of the students and difficult level of the paper.
I HV scored 52387 in neet pg 2021 in general category from kolkata West Bengal, is there chance get pathology in state level
Hello Pooja,
Cut-offs changes from year to year and that's why it is difficult to predict. As Cutoffs depends on many factors like
>>>Difficulty level of NEET PG exam
>>>Number of seats available
>>>Number of students appeared in NEET PG exam
>>>Category of the student
It is difficult to get Pathology course in good Medical Colleges of Kolkata or West Bengal. So try for Management quota seats in good Private Medical Colleges as well.

what are my chances of getting md psychiatry, paediatrics or pathology with 44993 rank general category?
Hi Sukhmani,
The cutoff ranks for MD in general category as compared to the last year, at maximum is around 10,000 and I see that your's is 44993 , so it is really tough to get a seat in a government college . However according to your preference you can opt for private colleges through management quota.
Further you can check the following link to check a college according to your choice : https://medicine.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-private-medical-colleges-in-india-accepting-neet-pg

Dear Student ,
As per your rank and given caste category .. you have less chances to get your preferred MD specialization in any Govt/Private medical colleges except Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha .(according to previous year's cut off trends )
But , every year the cut off may vary for some following reasons like seat matrix, difficulty level of questions etc.

my rank is 56000 . can i get govt seat in pathology.
Hello Roja. You mentioned your rank in NEET PG 2021 but didn't mention your caste. So, I assume you belong to General category and I will try to give an answer based on that.
Based on your result in NEET PG 2021 and previous years' data, it is less likely for you to get chance to contest a seat for Pathology at any top-rated Public/Government medical colleges . However, if you are lucky and if the seats are available then you may get chance at DMIMSU - Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha. In 2019, NEET PG Cutoff Rank prescribed for MD in Pathology at DMIMSU for General candidates was 67941 (Round 2).
Apart from these, you have good chances in few Private medical colleges for MD in Pathology such as:
- D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur
- Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute
- Santosh Medical College And Hospital, Santosh University, Santoshpur
- Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research
- Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai
and more...
Please note, this prediction has been made based on previous years' cutoff details and may be subjected to vary from actual results.

Hi Aspirant,
Pursuing a MD in pathology requires to sit for the NEET examination. From the last year counselling scenario it can be well concluded that in all India quota, under OBC category, the last rank to get MD in pathology from Kilpauk medical college was 454, in Stanley Medical College was 560 and that of Madras Medical College was around 130.
