After completing bsc MLT can I do md pathology
bsc mlt is best scope for future in comparison of the bsc microbiology or bsc pathology?
BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology or BSc MLT is an undergraduate program. Its duration is of 3 years. To be eligible for this course on must pass 10+2 with science subjects Physics ,Chemistry , Maths and Biology with aggregate of 50%.There are colleges which offer admission on basis of merit or entrance exams. The main focus of this course is to train students to deal with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases through the utilization of clinical laboratory tests.
It has a good scope but less scope than the B.Sc Microbiology course. The Bachelors in Microbiology will be in the most demand because of its use in the research feild. Microbiologists have a great demand in pharmacy . agricultural research, dairy , food industry , Medical clinical industires . The world is developing daily and with it develops many other microorganisms that are both useful as well as harmful so here researchers & scientists help the common man to distinguish among them.
So scope wise
Microbiology>Medical Labratory technology>Pathology

which is best in comparison of bsc. microbiology and bsc. pathology?
Hey,
Microbiology and Pathology deals with the same theme, the micro organisms, the two fields differ in many aspects. Microbiology is a field in the medicine that includes the study of various micro organisms like bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc. Pathology is also related with the medicine field which includes the study of disease and its diagnosis.
Microbiology can be approached in several different directions.
Microbiology for patient samples is a branch of clinical pathology (clinical pathology basically is the analysis of specimens for aspects other than cell or tissue morphology and includes things like blood chemistry etc).
A microbiology laboratory for patient samples would be part of a pathology laboratory. Pathology laboratories can either be part of a hospital or separate, part of a private practice or corporation. The microbiology section of a pathology laboratory would be headed by a pathologist (a medical doctor specialized in pathology), possibly a pathologist with further training in microbiology.
A microbiologist has at least a bachelors degree in microbiology and could work in a laboratory that analyzes human samples. This person does the technical work with the specimens. The pay would be that of a laboratory scientist in the relevant country.
A microbiologist may also specialize in non medical fields, such as soil science or plant pathology or product preservation. Various industry and research positions would be possible. Microbiologists can also acquire a PhD. and perform scientific research as part of a university career.
So, it really depends on what your after.
Hope it helps.

after completing the course of bsc.zoology, can I do bsc.microbiology or bsc.pathology
Dear Aspirants ,
Yes you can apply or take admission in BSC. Micro biology basis on 12th marks and you have fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria like the Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology or B.Sc. Medical Microbiology is a branch of Microbiology and Medicine. Candidates applying for B.Sc Microbiology should pass 10+2 with subjects Chemistry, Physics and Biology .
But as per my opinion it was not good decision because you had already completed your undergraduate course then you can go for higher studies like MSc but you wants to apply another time in undergraduate course so it will take 3 years another precious time .
But there is no concern if you really wants to take admission then you can take admission basis on above criteria .
I hope it will helpful
Thanks
