See BCA is professional course which is curriculum wise different from BA Computer Application or BSC Computer Application. Patna University offers both the courses i.e., BA and BSc (Hons) in Computer Application. But you should remember that there is a wide deviation in curriculum. Although as you know BCA is a professional course i.e., this course avails you more scope towards job oriented infrastructure but BA/BSC Course will not be that much of job oriented. But contrary to this it is also true that MCA is a must for a better career perspective. So I would say if you choose between BA/BSc COMPUTER APPLICATION then go for BSc COMPUTER APPLICATION as it will make you eligible for the MCA course. So you should go for BSc rather than BA.

Yes, B.C.A(Bachelor Of Computer Application) course is available in Patna University. Patna university is recognized by UGC . A course fee of Rs. 11,500+500 per academic session. The duration of the course is 3 years.  More than 20% BCA students got placed in on-campus placements.
