I score 88 percentile & in open category...can I eligible for advanced
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
******kind of marks obtained by them ,
******toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then last 2 years qualifying cut off percentile in order to be eligible for JEE advanced is provided below for general category:-
-
2020 :-90.3765335 percentile
-
2019 :- 89.7548849 percentile
You can check the same at our page the link is provided below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
So , with 88 percentile, you have a little bit low chances to qualify JEE main 2021 to be eligible for JEE advanced examination

how can i score 95 percentile + in jee2022 my score in 2021 was 74 percentile
Hi there,
See since your percentile was 74 and you want to get something about 95 so your score should be more than 200 marks out of 300.
For that you must focus on all the basic concepts of each and every topic and try to practice as much as possible, along with previous years questions.
The books that you should prefer are
- Hc verma
- Ms chauhan
- Cengaze
- N avasthi etc
If you do these things consistently then you can score the required marks.
I scored 76 Marks in JEE Mains in july shift and my percentile is 73.87 and careers360 showed that your percentile would be between 85-89 so tell me now I got 70 Marks in 27 August shift 2 so what will my Percentile score and tell me true as possible please cause you couldnt give me real data then!
Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your percentile because it keeps on changing every year and even in every shift depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.
So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your percentile is expected to be in the range of 85.96 - 89.08 as the shift that you have mentioned was moderate in comparison to other shifts.
