Both the colleges are good for computer science and engineering course .CSE at PES University is the best in Bengaluru  Pesit is the best for computer science enthusiasts, and it also encourages higher studies.  More than 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. I would choose Pes University  over PESIT. I would say don't have a doubt in mind while picking Pes University over PESIT . According to placements both are equal pesit south campus students sit together for placements in Pes University itself.

PES college of engineering is a technical institute  and an autonomous college placed itself in NIRF ranking in 161th position.

It has good placement oppurtunities  with a median package of 6.34 lakhs per annum

It has an extraordinary infrastructure and a college which aims in developing overall character of a student and enhances his creative knowledge

Alliance university  is also a private institution with NIRF ranking 186.

It has placement oppurtunities with median package of 5 lakhs per annum.

Therefore it is better to choose PES university  to have a great future

PES College of Engineering : 

• The college is a private owned college and was eshtablished in the year 1962. The campus is about 62 acres with 189 faculty people.
• The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological Unibversity and also has received 'B++' grade by NAAC. The college also has been ranked at 161st by NIRF.
• The college has all the required facilities like boy's hsotel and girl's hostel, gym, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital, swimming pool, bank and parking facilities etc. 
• Talking about the placements , B.E./B.Tech students gets a average package of 6.34 Lakhs.

Alliance University : 

• The University was eshtablished in the year 2010 and is a private university. The campus is about 40 acres and has 140 people as faculty.
• The university is UGC approved and is ranked at 186th among engineering by NIRF. 
• The university has the facilities like boys and girls hostel, gym, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital, wifi, convenience store, guest room, alumni association etc.
• As far as the placement goes, B.E./B.Tech gets a package about 5.10 Lakhs.

Now, according to me the PES College of Engineering, Mandya is a best option when compared to Alliance University. The former has best facilities, good teaching experience and also the placements are good.

I would say no you wouldnt get a seat in civil engineering with that rank because they only accept 36 students into this branch through the PESSAT quota but you might want to try you're luck in the second round of counseling.

They both have almost the same ranking, and they both are decent colleges so no problems there, but you should try for even better colleges. From my knowledge, PESCE is the older institute and better recognised, so you should go for that, given the choice. PES is autonomous, so the general quality of the college is also nice. Congratulations on having so many choices!

CSE should always be preferred over IT since it is a more wholesome course and companies tend to choose CS graduates over IT graduates mostly.

Among the colleges you have mentioned , NMAMIT would be the best one to go for. It has better faculty, placements, hostel & food facilities than the rest. The fees would also be lesser. The only thing you need to adjust to is its offbeat location.
