I got 88 percentile in jee mains . Can i get into petroleum engineering in DUIET while I am from general category ?
Your percentile puts you in the 115045 - 85657 range. You have a possibility to get Petroleum Engineering in DUIET based on previous year's cutoff. Every year, the cutoff varies depending on factors such as the number of students who take the exam, the number of students who pass the exam, the previous year's cutoff, and the exam's difficulty level. You have a good probability of getting a spot in DUIET if you obtain this rating.

Im a petroleum engineering student. as you know there is again covid situation come all over the country thats why there is no industrial training is available offline all the training are available online but we cant learn in online training then what can I do now for secure my future.
Hi Shubham!
Yes, you are absolutely right! In this pandemic situation, companies are not even allowing their own employees to work from office, so they cannot allow other students at their place for training. I would suggest you to gain the knowledge in online mode, you can get the videos or lectures of all the equipment used in the field in online mode. But if you want to add a certificate of internship in your CV, then online internship is a good option in this pandemic situation.
Hope it helps to clear your dilemma, thankyou!

Hi Dipak,
As you mentioned you are pursuing Petroleum engineering, I would suggest you to write GATE exam as it is related to your domain. And you can grab a PSU if score good marks. You can have two attempts to write the exam, one in third year and next in the final year. Or you can go to any IIT or any other good college to pursue M.Tech, if you are not interested in government job. To know more about Gate, visit here:

Thankyou!
i am currently doing ca and i also want to do mba from iim Ahmadabad.....if i pursue both the degrees what would pe my average salary?
When it comes to CA, he average salary of Chartered Accountants in India ranges from 6-7 lakhs to 30 lakhs depending on your organization.
Rank Holders and Single attempt passed students get a priority over the multiple attempts passed students. Furthermore if you will get an MBA degree from IIMA then it will be cherry on the cake and during campus placement you will get advantage and more preference and you can get a minimum package of 50 lakhs per annum.
I hope this helps.
