I want to do philosophy hons from delhi university 2021 but i havent studied philosophy in my 12th (humanities). Will there be a deduction in my best four percent?
Hello there,
For courses like Philosophy hons. the effective percentage is calculated by taking the marks of best four subjects including one language subject. There won't be any extra deduction to change of streams.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Sir/maam may I know the syllabus for Philosophy for Hyderabad University entrance examination 2021??
Hello,
You haven't mentioned your query is regarding which course level, since amidst the undergraduate courses HCU only offers integrated courses in hindi/telugu/language sciences/economics/history/political science/sociology/anthropology I presume you're enquiring for MA Philosophy, the entrance test will be conducted for 100 MCQs mainly from sections such as reading and comprehension, quantitative and analytical reasoning, each question is of one mark while there is deduction of 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer, you can check out the previous year entrance exam paper at http://igmlnet.uohyd.ac.in:8000/question-papers.htm, this will make you acquaint with exam pattern, marking scheme, important topics, level of the paper, through regular practice you will be able to analyze your strength and weakness, and accordingly improve your speed, and time management skills.

hello respected sir, 12th ma 55 percentage che to BA philosophy ma admission madi sake..??? please reply me...sir..
Hi Aspirant,
Yes, you can pursue BA in Philosophy with 55% in class 12th. Most of the colleges have same eligibility criteria i.e., the students should have completed 10th and 12th from a recognized board and institute and should have obtained a minimum of 45% at the 10+2 level. However there are some other colleges too where the admission is done on basis of some entrance exams.
