Hello dear
The eligibility for ma philosophy is that Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education minimum 50 percent marks in Social Sciences and Humanities. Candidates from the Science & Technology disciplines should have a minimum of 55 percent marks.
There are only 25 seats in jnu in your desired course.

Dear Vineet, there are Institutions that require graduation in any stream for pursuing a Masters in Philosophy. And also, there are Institutions that require having a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy or even Philosophy as a Subject in Bachelor's degree. You can pursue this course Full-time or Part-time. There are Institutions all over India offering these courses. Institutions require 45-50% of aggregate in your Graduation. Some Institutions take admissions based on Merit list while few take admissions based on an Entrance Examination.

BA philosophy is there in IGNOU. For having your BA in philosophy there are certain eligibility criteria that you have to fulfil like Candidates should have passed their Intermediate or H.S.C. (12th class) examination with atleast 55% (50% for reserved category) from a recognized board in any stream are eligible for the course
