does tamil nadu state syllabus + ncertbooks+ organic chemistry+ inorganic chemistry+ physical chemistry. these books will help me to secure good marks and by practicing many questions is enough sir for jee mains and advanced exam
Dear aspirant,
I would personally recommend you to follow jee mains syllabus. And for organic chemistry , inorganic and physical chemistry you should follow ncert chemistry blindly.
Coming to your practice question, just practice previous year papers and solve mock tests of which ever coaching you go. If you have taken allen test series then follow that sincerely.
sir tell which author book I need to choose for organic, inorganic and physical chemistry for jee advanced

What is the weightage of organic chemistry , inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry in NEET
hello there!
In NEET Chemistry section,
around 36% of weightage is given to Physical and Inorganic Chemistry while 28% of weightage is given to Organic Chemistry Syllabus.

how to study physical chemistry for neet?im not able to solve numerical mcq?!
Hello,
Physical Chemistry is just one part of the Chemistry. I believe you are just having problems with Analytical part of it where some maths is involved. Firstly, I would suggest you to have all the concepts clear. For example Electrochemistry might become a bit tricky is concepts are not clear. Secondly, the only possible option for you is to practice. If you can try previous year papers, and keep practising, I think you can see improvements. Mind you, first clear the concepts, then go for the questions. You will be able to see the pattern in questions. Just follow what is given and what is asked.
Hope it helps.
chemical bonding is inorganic or physical chemistry
Phsical chemistry includes the study of macroscopic, and particulate phenomena inchemical systems in terms of the principles, practices, and concepts of physics such as motion, energy, force, time, thermodynamics, quantumchemistry, statistical mechanics, analytical dynamics andchemicalequilibrium.
Inorganic chemistry deals with synthesis and behavior of inorganic and organometallic compounds.
So according to me the topic of chemical bonding belongs to physical chemistry . I have come to this conclusion because to understand the concepts of chemical bonding we have to apply the concept of physics , like mass, energy, force . And the branch of chemistry that takes into account physics is physical chemistry so Chemical bonding belongs to Physical Chemistry.
Hope that helps.
All the best .
Which is the best book for Physical Chemistry for jee mains 2020, not for advanced?
Hi student,
There are two books that are considered to be the best books for Physical Chemistry for the preparation of JEE Mains 2020, not advanced. They are mentioned below:-
- Concept of Physical Chemistry by P Bahadur - Good explanation and set of quality problems
- Physical Chemistry by P.W. Atkins -Refer to this book only when you know the basics and want to practice more.

Good Luck!
hello please help me I have a doubt in solutions chapter in physical chemistry in class12 when I am studying solutions chapter I was getting afraid to see the formulas And I am getting fearness and how can I prepare weekend exams? give some advises to me
hey aspirant
Firstly make sure that all the concepts are clear if not you can refer video lectures available on many platforms and for formulae you can have to revise them regularly or understand the may they are derived , also you have to make notes and read the chapter line by line form N.C.E.R.T and you will be able to complete the chapter till weekend , and no need to worry you will do well.
All the best
THANK YOU!
can I study inorganic chemistry without knowledge of physical chemistry for class 12?
Hello Aspirant!!!
Yes, you can study organic chemistry without having deep knowledge of physical chemistry. Organic chemistry is all about reactions and mechanisms. As the mole concept is the basis of physical chemistry, basic organic chemistry (BOC) is the basis of organic chemistry. If you have mastered BOC then organic chemistry isn't difficult but if you haven't made a grip then organic chemistry is way to difficult. I will suggest that there are some easy topics in physical chemistry which you should do to score more. Hope you are clear. Work hard and all the best!!
Thank you!!!
in chemistry does 15 questions each are asked from organic ,inorganic and physical chemistry in neet? Can the no. of questions vary? What about in physics as such then?
Okay I will provide you with the NEET question paper analysis for PHYSICS & CHEMISTRY 2018
Chemistry :
- Physical Chemistry: 12 Q
- Organic Chemistry: 14 Q
- Inorganic Chemistry: 12 Q
- General Chemistry: 4 Q
This might vary by a question or two .
For Physics:
- Mechanics: 19 Q
- Thermodynamics : 3 Q
- Kinetic Theory: 2 Q
- Electrodynamics: 9 Q
