Hi,

After Class 12, you need to pursue pilot training course or qualify NDA exam in order to get the training of an Air Force Pilot. According to the eligibility criteria, you need to pass Class 12 in Science and you must be at least 17 years of age. Moreover, you must have a medical certificate. After passing NDA exam, you need to get flying experience. After completing required number of hours of flight experience, you have to take written assessment and earn the Pilot's license. You need to complete additional training and tests and advance as an airline pilot.

can be become pilot after graduation with bsc biotechnology plz help
You should have physics, chemistry and maths in your class 12th , because clarity and focus in physics is extremely required in order to become a pilot. Hence, if you had the following subjects you can continue in the following way:
1. you have done b.sc in biotechnology, hence you are eligible to become a pilot.
2. now, you need to gain experience in this field, since you would be needing with a private pilot certificate.
3. also, getting a first class medical certificate is required from a federal aviation administration medical examiner.
4. as soon as you get a private pilot license, start working on getting a commercial certificate.
5. complete CFI rating requirements, try to get CFII AND MEI ratings for advanced level as a pilot.
note: as far as experience is concerned , in order to work at regional airlines flight you would need 500 to 1000 hours of training.
How many exams do I have to clear to become a fighter pilot? may you please explain me step by step ! also height required.
Dear student,
- In order to become a fighter pilot you may give the CDSE examination for which you must be a graduate and between 20 to 24 years of age, also maths and physics is required in class 12th.
- The second way to become a fighter pilot is through AFCAT examination in which graduation with 60% is required and class 12th with 50% in science stream. Age must be 20 to 24 years.
- The third way is by giving NCC examination with 20 to 24 years of age limit. Same criteria for graduation and 12 th class as above mentioned. For this you need a NCC Air wing senior division c certificate.
The height required is around 164 cms. A navy pilot must be atleast 5 feet 2 inches tall but also not talker than 6 feet inches.
I would like to become an pilot after pursuing my B.E MECHANICAL engineering in indian government, what should I do now?
Hi Aspirant,
There are two type of Pilot variants. One for whom flying is just a hobby, others regards it as his/ her career. Two different programs are available for the two kinds of pilots. For the hobby the PPL (Private Pilot License) is available, while for the pilots looking for a career in the aviation industry its the CPL (Commercial Pilot License).
To become a pilot after B.E in Mechanical Engineering :
- Get a class II medical test done by a DGCA approved doctor.
- Most importantly the infrastructure as well as experience in the industry for over 20 years. You can find the list of doctors at the DGCA website.
- Join a flying club. I would recommend Academy of Carver Aviation Pvt. Limited for their large fleet, young and dynamic flight instructors
- Giving necessary theory exams as required by DGCA is generally taken care by the Flying Club that you would join. Rest of the formalities like getting a Student Pilot License, doing required flying hours etc are done later on.
Hope this is clear
Thanks
what is the cost of course of pilot?
Hi,
Entrance ExamNDA Exam
Eligibility10+2 in Science (MPC)/Commerce
LicenseCommercial Pilot License (CPL)
Salary2 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs
Fees of Pilot Training Courses15 Lakhs to 20 Lakhs
Student is an Indian, wishes to go for a Commercial Pilot Licence on a Cessna 152 (2 seater)
Admission fee to a Flying club: 25,000 INR
200 Hours fee at 6500 INR per hour = 13,00,000 INR
Class 2 initial and Class 1 medical tests costs = 7,000 INR approx
Ground class (generally negotiable) = 1,00,000 INR
to reach an Airbus 320 rating you need a Multi Engine rating which would cost you
5. 6,00,000 INR (approx)
6. and type rating on Airbus 320 will cost you approx 25,00,000 INR more.
So I would say the final price tag for your (employable)Pilot Training would be around 45 Lakh INR (plan it as a minimum)
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
My maths is not very good...but physics is good.....Can I became a pilot?? Between my height is 52???
Hello Tejaswini Buwa,
To become a pilot you need to know Basic algebra, Ordinary arithmetic , conversion and you have to be accurate in calculations and that does not include advanced math or calculus .
So, even if you're bad in math you can still become a pilot (reasons above).
And coming to the second part of your query, you should be atleast 5'4 to be eligible to become a pilot in IAF but in case of other Commercial airlines required height is 5'1 .

Hello,
It's okay that you are repeating only for the Mathematics but for the AFCAT exam eligibility you need to do after the repeat , a degree in the Maths /Physis as main then you will be able to apply for the exam .
ALL THE BEST!!!!!
Hope you are satisfied with the answer.
