I am 30+. I had humanities in my plus two. I want to study medicine. will I be eligible to appear for the neet exam?
Hi
As of now, there is no upper limit for Neet Examination,
But still ,
You are not eligible for Neet examination.
This is because,
You have studied Humanities in your class 12th board but to be eligible for Neet , you should have completed your class 12th in science stream with physics, chemistry ,biology/ biotechnology and English
For your reference,
Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-
-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.
†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) Percentage required :- You must get
-
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
-
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc
-
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
-----------) Age limit :-
-
Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .
-
Upper age limit :-The upper age limit is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.
†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

While giving application for DU, how should we upload the 12th marksheet. Because Im a kerala state board student so the marksheet is only available in the combined form of both plus one and plus two marks.
Hello,
You can upload your marksheet in the format that is available to you, make sure you scan it well so the marks are visible. If you also have a provisional certificate stating your marks, it may also be helpful. However, uploading the one that is available with you should be enough. Do not forget to self attest your documents.
I hope this helps.
i have passed plus two from kerala board. kerala board publises marklist as sum of plus one and plus two. now i am going to apply for navy. they ask to enter 12th grade mark. is it necessary to enter both plus one and plus two mark. any one reply as fast as possible today is last date .
Hello Aspirant,
You can only enter the details the registration form asks for. So, you need to enter only the 12th scores in the form.
Navy form asks for each mark in subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, etc, or the subjects you had in your 12th standard.

if we got very very less mark in plus one is any trouble to get 80 percentage in plus two
Hello
No, there will be no trouble/ problem even if you have scored less marks in your +1 or class 11th , you can still score 80% or more in your class 12th or plus 2. I myself had scored only 74 % in 11th and then scored 90.2 % in 12th , you too can do it :) but yes you will have to study hard and put efforts as you have scored less in your +1 means your basic are a little weak so just study with dedication, perseverance and you can definitely achieve your goal.
Follow the given below tips to score well in your +2/12th board examination :-
---------) Go well through your textbooks
---------) While reading the book, underline the important points and then later make short notes
---------) Do go through the questions at the end of the chapter, just reading is not going to help.
---------) Follow a routine, it should be such that it moves around 3 important things i. e first studying, then practicing questions and finally revision.
---------) Focus relatively more on your weak subject so that you can make them strong
---------) Have daily, weekly and monthly goals like you will complete these topics today , these chapter by the end of the week and these many chapters by the end of the month
---------) Be practical in your approach. For example, if you need 4 days to complete a chapter but you plan to finish it in 1 day from scratch then that's not going to help you, at the end of the day it will give you disappointment and down your morale, so be practical.
---------) Complete your syllabus at least 1 month before your board examination so that you can give it for revision and practicing questions
---------) solve previous year question papers :- it will be really of great help to you because you will know what type of questions are asked in the exam, their difficulty level , examination pattern etc
---------) Go through chapterwise and unitwise test and once you're done with the complete syllabus ,go through full mock test papers. And do at least 5-10 full mock test papers in each subject.
---------) practicing days full mock test papers will let you know the level of your preparation for your board examination .
---------) after each mock test analyse your performance to know your mistakes / weak areas , after that you need to work on improving them in the subsequent mock tests .
I hope that you find this helpful.
Thank you
