Presidency University is a Private University established in Karnataka by Act No. 41 of 2013. It is approved by the Bar Council of India( BCI), New Delhi. The curriculum is well organised and internship is mandatory here and there is an internship cell also. For undergraduate courses the Institute fee is INR 700000 approximately.

For getting admission a candidate should have passed 10+2 higher secondary examination with an aggregate marks of 45%. There is a relaxation for 5% for the reserved categories.

This college offers 61 courses in 9 streams and 28 specializations.

The presidency university provides hostel facilities with accommodation to around 450 students near the university campus. The annual fee for a triple-sharing hostel room is 1,10,00. For twin sharing it is 1,50,000 and 1,40,000 for girl students, A 10,000 Rs is supposed to be deposited as a caution deposit which is refundable.

No, it is not compulsory to avail of hostel facilities during the time of admission at Presidency University. Students who want to stay in the hostel can apply for it at the time of admission by paying a separate hostel and mess fee. The application fee charged at Presidency University is Rs 1,000 and candidates can pay the fee with a debit card, credit card or net banking. However, for admission to the PhD programme, the application fee can be paid through Demand Draft (DD) or NEFT.
