My marks in NEET UG 2020 is 215 , I have karnataka domicile. I belong to Obc(3B) category. will I get into private dental college. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.
Hii,
Every year the admission in government college differ according to the cutoff and the difficulty level of the exam and also on the total number of candidates appeared in the exam
So, according to your score it is very difficult to predict either you will get chance for the admission in government college or not.
But yes you can apply in private dental colleges by your state quota or management quota.
Below is the list of private BDS colleges in the state of karnataka.
* KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum

Hello Dear Student,
Yes You can Register for Round 2 as a fresh candidate, Candidates who didn't get chance to register in first round can register for second Round, you can read "Counselling Scheme Brochure" available on official website of MCC for more details, there is no such rules that if you haven't Participated in Round 1 then you are not allowed to participate in Round 2.
To register for Round 2 Counselling, you just need to visit on official website of MCC i.e mcc.nic.in
Through MCC You can participate in the Counselling process of AIIMS, JIPMER and Central Universities and 15% All India Quota Seats of Government Medical Colleges and 100% Seats of Deemed Universities (Private Medical Colleges). But Counselling Security Deposit is High for Deemed Universities I.e 2 lakh Rupees (approx) and For Government Colleges it is 10000 Rupees (approx).
Regarding Private Dental Colleges of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu or any other state: Through MCC Counselling you are eligible for Admissions in only Deemed Universities of these states, they are also Private but Fee structure is High that is 4 lakh rupees per year to 7.25 lakh rupees per year for BDS. If you want to Secure a State Private Medical/Dental College of a particular State you need to participate in their State Counselling and different States have different Eligibility Criterias regarding this but in Kerala you can participate in State Counselling for Management Quota Seats of Private Dental Colleges.

Does private dental college charge Fees for 4 years OR 5 years. As i Know that Course is of 4+1 (1 year Internship)
Hello Rajneesh,
The BDS course is a five year course divided as 4 plus one year paid internship. This means that the institute takes fees for duration of 4 years and the one year internship is a paid internships wherein the student gets stipend for doing this internship.
The fees in private dental colleges is upto Rs. 5 lakhs per year whereas Government colleges have fees upto Rs.60,000.
Good luck and stay safe!
do v have a specific cutoff for private dental college in tn too?
Dear Student,
just as in the case of government dental colleges have cut off, even private dental colleges have a cut off of their own. The cut off for each private dental college is different from each other, depending upon their various reasons.
Can i expect top good private dental college in 300 marks in NEET 2020? And what will be my expected rank?
Hello aspirant
With score of 300 marks in NEET 2020 your expected rank will be between 2,65000 to 2,81000
. With this rank it seems difficult to get seat in top private dental college if you are from general category. Which private College you will get , depends upon cut off neet 2020 . Cut off depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam, previous year's cut off and availability of seats. Expected Cut off neet 2020 is 50 th percentile for general category which is score between 701-134

can i get private dental college with 164 marks in neet 2020 i am obc with maharashtra domicile
Hello Aspirant,
See it is a little bit difficult to predict your exact admission possibility in any of the college because cut-offs are bound to change depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
But although according to the marks and category you have mentioned in the question you have almost no chances of getting into private dental colleges even under Home State quota as per previous year's cut-offs which says that the lowest cut-off for OBC candidate was 317 in Dr Hedgewar Smruti Rugna Seva Mandal's Dental College, Hingoli under Home State Quota. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below:-

I am a 1st year BDS student in a private dental college in Kerala. But mine is a GOVERNMENT SEAT. I wish to write NEET 2020. So if I get MBBS this year, Can I leave this college?? How much I want to pay as penalty ,eventhough I am admitted in a Govt seat.??? Plz reply...
Akshaya, though it is a Government Quota seat, because the seat was offered in a Private College, the penatly might be huge. This is because the seat will be vacant for the rest of the duration of the course and there is no direct admission to 2nd year to fill the vacant seat. Most Colleges demand Candidates to pay the entire fee of the course. Infact most Private Colleges make Candidates sign a NOC certificate pertaining to the same. If you have signed such a document, then you have to reach out to the College Administration to sort this out. EIther ways the final call is taken by the Administration and so they decide the penalty or the seat resignation fees.
I am a 1st year BDS student in a private dental college in KERALA. But mine is a GOVERNMENT SEAT. I wish to write NEET 2020. So if I get MBBS this year, will I be able to leave this college?? Plz reply....
Hello student ,
Yes , you can leave your BDS course as you have scored a government seat for MBBS , all you have to do is that think that can you go through your this course as per choice or not .Further you need to talk to your director for returning your documents and all although they will not return your fees for the year you was there . You just ask them for your document giving him a valid reason .
Hope it will help !
