I am a private school teacher. Is my child eligible for IP quota of NEET counseling.
Hello user
If your child had a Ward of Insured Persons certificate and your insurance has completed almost ten years, you are eligible for seeking the benefit of IP quota in NEET counseling and getting admission in ESIC colleges. Other than this, the income constraint suggests that monthly earnings should not exceed 20,000. Hope to have helped. All the best for NEET UG counseling.
I am a private school teacher, I was an insured person from 2016-2019. Then I changed my job and there was not ESIC option for employees though my salary was less than 21000. Now I am again getting benefits of ESIC from April 2021. Is my ward eligible under IP ward quota in ESIC Medical College.
Hello sir
The minimum eligibility for obtaining IP ward certificate is
“The ‘Insured Person’ shall be an ‘employee’ as defined in the ESI Act; and he/she should have been in continuous insurable employment for a minimum period of five / four / three years as on, and immediately preceding the 1st January of the year of admission; and contribution in respect of him/her were paid/payable for not less than 78 days in all the 9/7/5 contribution periods immediately preceding 1st January of the year of admission with the proviso that the return of contribution as provided under Section 44 of the ESI Act read with Regulation 26(a) of the ESI (General) Regulations be filed within 42 days of termination of contribution period to which it relates, during this five / four / three year period. However, if the IP does not fulfill the requirement of minimum 78 days of paid or payable contribution as above in the specified CPs on account of exigency beyond control of IP, 78 days of paid / payable contribution shall be allowed to reckon from among the 02* contribution periods shown in the tables in Para (4.5) during the five / four / three year period for determining eligibility. The five / four / three year period along with extended period of one year for the purpose eligibility should lie between recorded date of entry into the scheme and critical date for eligibility, i.e. 1st January of the year of admission.
so it is clearly mentioned that you should be continuous employee for minimum of three years. So as you have just started getting benifit this year,I think your child will not be eligible for IP ward certificate.
hope this information helps you
All the best
I have completed my graduation in Masters in forensic science, how can I get the job as a teacher or professor In govt or private school or colleges ?
Hi
For lectureship in government and private colleges the eligibility is Post Graduate in relevant discipline with NET and/or Ph.D as per U.G.C Norms. As for recruitment in any schools BEd is mandatory.
Hope this helps.
after completing b. sc ,M.sc and b. ed. is it necessary for appearing in ctet without ctet I can teach in gov. School or private school or not
If you're seeking opportunities in government schools like KVS, NVS, Army school etc then CTET is mandatory, even in case of private schools majority of them will require you to qualify CTET, however the decision to go with CTET or not regarding recruitment of a teacher rests with the administration only, but yes reputed ones will surely ask, if you are already a postgraduate and hold BEd degree then you can appear for CTET that will be beneficial for you, and apart from this if you are looking at state level government schools recruitment process then you can appear for TETs conducted at state level.
if I have done b. sc in botany and m. sc in botany. can I teach in private school or government school and which class will teach
If you haven't pursued BEd then try to do it, because without it it will be very difficult to teach in school, if you're aiming for government school, then you can appear for CTET conducted at national level or TETs conducted at state level, since you are a postgraduate, you will also get good pay package and will be able to teach higher classes as well, generally the eligibility criteria for BEd is passed graduation or post graduation from a recognized University securing 50% aggregate , there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, admission can be done through academic merit or entrance tests such as Delhi University, BHU,Allahabad University have it's own admission test, even Regional Institute of Education with its various campuses conduct admission through CEE by NCERT, there are also private universities like LPU, Jaipur National University, Sharda University etc, explore more detailed information regarding BEd at https://www.careers360.com/courses/b-ed-bachelor-of-education
private school teacher good or govt. school teacher
See Teachers are teachers. Be it government or Private school teachers, each and every teacher have the same responsibility to educate the next generation not only academically but to be a good human being also. Thus being a school teacher is a task of responsibility and one must be very affectionate about teaching.
Now Private school teachers may have relatively higher salaries compared to government school teachers. To get selected in Government school one have to appear for a school service examination and then to be followed by an interview. Thus being a government school teacher can be time consuming. Also the government school teachers need to have BEd degree. But there is an immense benefit that the Government school teachers gets is that they get a much more security of job and they get a lot of time to focus on there studies (if any one wants to. Also for government schools study leaves are also allowed).
Thus its a very relative thing. Both have there own advantages and disadvantages. You should choose based on your mindset and the option that satisfies your dreams.
I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Teaching in any school is not complicated if you are passionate about teaching and wants to get surrounded by the students. But the most important thing to be noticed is the eligibility criteria fulfilment. You must need a B. Ed degree to reach students. govt. school is good or private school compare than both
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well...
Providing good quality education to their children has been a dream of every single parent and the debating thought of 'Government schools v/s Private schools' never leaves their mind. Here, I've tried to give a detailed comparison between the two to help you make your mind up.
- Now that it has become a necessity for every individual to know the English language, parents automatically drawn towards the private schools because the medium of education of most private schools is English. But in government schools, the students are taught in the regional language.
- Co-curricular activities help boost a student's confidence and help in their overall development as an individual. It helps them to think on their feet and stand tall. Private schools are always on the lookout for co-curricular activities that would make learning fun and engaging for the students. A few good government schools also engage their students in such activities but the number is very less compared to the private schools.
- Teachers, both in government schools and private schools are highly educated. But the reason why the results of private schools outrun that of government schools is because of the level of dedication of the faculty. Private schools are known because of their results, therefore making the teachers work harder with each passing day.
- Due to lack of classrooms and faculty, government schools try to include maximum students in one classroom due to which teachers are not able to give individual attention to each student. Government teachers, instead of teaching, are given other duties like preparing for the mid-day meal, taking surveys, etc. But in private schools, teachers' foremost duty is to monitor each & every student in their class.
- When it comes to fees , private schools charge high as they provide top-notch facilities for the overall development of children. High fee makes it very difficult for low-income families to afford it. On the other hand, government schools impart free education up to class 8 so that the lower section of society can afford it.
Except for some of the esteemed government schools, most of the government schools are in very miserable condition. Given the above-stated reasons, even low-income families try to send their kids to a private school to ensure a better future for them. But if both the government and the government teachers work hand-in-hand, they can change the existing image of government schools. If the government starts funding and monitoring schools, the conditions of government schools can be improved. If the teachers start being dedicated to their work and complete their job with honesty, it won't be long until the government schools and private schools stand at par with each other.
Hope this was helpful.
Should there be any other query, please feel free to ask.
Good Luck!
