What should I do because my jee percentile Is low ??? should I join private engineering college or doing bsc in chemistry from private university??

thakurvishesh1 10th Aug, 2022

See it totally depends on what your interests are and what do you want to do in future regarding your career prospects. If you want to work in pure science especially in chemistry and want to further do a PhD, then it is a no brainer for you to take Chemistry in a private college.

However, if you want to pursue engineering, then you should definitely look out for engineering in a private college! So, at the end you have to go with your own calling.

You can also use our college predictor to see your chances in all the colleges:

Kya koi bhi private university b.sc agriculture (honours) course provide krwa skta hai Agar yes to uske liye private university main koi accredation hona important hai?

Kushagra Singh 7th Aug, 2022

Hi candidate,

There are many universities that offer BSc agriculture courses. Bachelor of Science in agriculture train students about knowledge of agriculture and how to grow positive results in various circumstances in the field. The students are also taught about agriculture tools and techniques.

Certain private universities and colleges offering BSc in agriculture are as:

  • Noida International University
  • Jaipur National University
  • Shoolini University
  • Mansarovar Global University
  • Maharishi University
  • PCTE group of institutes

As you have mentioned you want honours degree. No there is not any such boundation about affiliation with private universities. I suggest to visit their official website, and scroll to academic section where you will find the extra subjects that you might need to pursue during your course for honour's degree.

Else, there might be some other conditions like completing NPTEL MOOCs courses etc.,

You can also talk to your class coordinator about such. They would be happy to guide you.

Thank you!

I want to do masters in psychology in SOL DU. But Im also enrolled in private university with the same course. Can I enroll on both of the universities at the same time.

Tanya Gupta 23rd Jul, 2022

Hello,

Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.

Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.

I hope this helps,
