Hello
There is absolutely no differernce between thwo of them they are both located opposite to each other and the different departments are named differently.
PSGIM offers departments such as finance,HR,marketing, operations other technical courses are offered at PSG college of technology.
PSGIM is a very good college and the placements are very good overall, average placement is around 5-6Lpa.

Hello,
Actually the percentile is not enough to say about your possibilities in college.
You can check online the colleges criteria then have a list about the colleges those who are same as per criteria and your marks. And after that apply for them.

Hi Prasanna,
There are chances for you to get admission in PSG Institute of Management as the last year cutoff for PSG for Open Category is around 48 marks. As PSG have 90 seats reserved for TANCET candidates and according to your marks your rank would be around 61-81.CEG is good for Engineering I would not suggest you to go for that.

Hello!
As per the past records you can expect the cut off for mba for a student in OC category for the mentioned colleges is: psgim (PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore) is around 63
For tsm (thiagarajar school of mngt) is around 55-56 & for ssn it's 55.

Going by previous years data, PSGIM might be tad difficult. You might have decent chance at:
UNOM
Thiagarajar School of Management
Kumaraguru College of Technology
SSN School of Management
Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. You can use our TANCET College predictor
Which college is good for Mba PSGIM or Amrita Coimbatore?
Hey Ashwin,
Both colleges are good, but according to me Amrita University is better in MBA than in PSGIM. Amrita University has more experience than PSGIM which means a lot of experienced professors are present in Amrita University than in PSGIM. Placement opportunities are higher in Amrita University.
PSGIM offers MBA which are also dual degrees due to tie ups with foreign universities but students going abroad to spend one semester there is very few. Only those who have money and wish to gain an experience do it, so that they can return back to India and implement them in the factories run by their fathers or forefathers. Amrita has been taking in students who attempt CAT exam whereas PSG accepts students who write MAT and TANCET.
Hope this helped,
All The Best.
