Dear Student,

Among the various branches of the medical field Psychiatry is one of them. Hence to pursue to become a Psychiatrist you will be required to take subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 11th and 12th standard. Following which you will be required to do MBBS and then get your MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree. After which you will be known as a Psychiatrist.
I want to be a psychiatrist and want to do my mbbs and md at us then how can I apply for world popular College of us after completing my 12th from PSEB boards
Dear Aspirant
For applying at the MBBS colleges in the US, an aspirant must be a science graduate. Most of the prestigious colleges and universities give admission to graduates for the MBBS (MD) course on the basis of Science graduation in addition to MCAT Score.
The medical courses are taught in English. MBBS students need to show their fluency in English by scoring well in TOEFL, IELTS /and other English proficiency exams.
Minimum 7.0 Marks in IELTS/ Minimum 700 Marks in TOEFL Required. These minimum marks criteria varies from School to School , so you need to check their respective Medical school website for the same.
Where as per MCI requirement one should be 10+2 with minimum 50% in Physics , Chemistry & Biology and NEET Pass.
The requirement for taking admission in the USA is that an applicant must have cleared MCAT . Most of US Medical Schools requires the Medical College Admission Test – MCAT. MCAT Exam held several times in a Year in various US Centers and at some locations outside US. If you are having MBBS degree or perusing MBBS then you can register without seeking special permission from AAMC (http://www.aamc.org/) – Association of American Medical Colleges (www.aamc.org) otherwise you will need permission from AAMC.
Hope this helps

how much neet score marks we need to STUDY psychiatrist
is it important to clarify Neet to become a psychiatrist? because I wanted to join a college and get a degree?
.
Yes, NEET is mandatory for being a psychiatrist. You may be hearing from some people saying NEET is not important for getting a seat. It's a false news, people get confused in between psychiatrist and psychologist. Here two are different courses where psychologist don't need NEET andfor psychiatry NEET is mandatory.
Actually I currently am in class 12th Science...and I want to become a psychiatrist what subjects should I choose after 12th in college?

without taking science in 11class how can i become a psychiatrist
A psychiatrist is a person who treats mental disorders through medications. That is why it is mandatory for them to have a medical degree for which one need to opt for science in 12th that is physics, chemistry and biology. There is no way one can become psychiatrist without pursuing medical degree.
However if you don't wish to pursue medicine, their is another field which is psychology, one can become clinical psychologist, however difference between the two will be that a clinical psychologist treat mental disorder with therapeutic ways and a psychiatrists treat it with medicines.
Please, make a decision after reading pros and cons, and in what field you are interested in.
Hope you find it helpful.
Thankyou!
One day my friend told me that his father is selfish, always think of himself and not taking any tension for family and not making money to maintain family. my friend is just 20 years old and he wants to study so in such situation what would you say?
Dear kevallaw ,
As per your friend condition first of all think in cool mind ,first of all it is not only your friend problem in India more then 5lakhs people or might be more people dont even have food for 3times to eat , so we must go through practically always and your friend do some part time work like tuition ,online work like content writing and if your friends good in coding then go for online web design ,graphics design to support his family ,apart from that if he is really interested to study then go through government college where you friend will choose course as per his interest and fees is very less and he will apply for scholarship .
My dear friends in our life we cant expect only good time will come ,so always be ready for worst then only we made strong physically and mentally .
i hope it will helpful

Abhishek, Psychiatry is a Specialisation after MBBS. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. So to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. Once you appear for NEET and secure a seat in MBBS, you study MBBS for 50 months and then after 1 year of mandatory rotational internship, you are a qualified MBBS Professional. Post this, you have to appear for NEXT which will be the mode of admission to MD in Psychiatry after MBBS. Right now it is NEET PG but it will be replaced by NEXT.
