May I know what does nimhans UG And PG application form mean? I want to apply for MD psychiatry. Which is applicable for me?
PG means post-graduation and UG means under-graduation. You are eligible for PG courses only after completing graduation in the required field.
For UG courses, you need to complete 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognised board for eligibility. However, MD in psychiatry is a post-graduate course and so, you will have to fill the PG application form.
The minimum eligibility for MD of psychiatry course is that candidate must have successfully completed MBBS or DMS or BHMS or BDS.
Incase, you haven't completed MBBS yet, than you cannot apply for MD courses.
For session 1 of entrance exam, the application process will start from 7 January 2020.

Hi,
In order to be psychiatrist you need to take science in your class 11 and 12 with physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects. Qualify your class 12. After that qualify NEET, AIIMS,or JIPMER and get admission in a medical college. After qualifying MBBS, you need to qualify entrance test for PG where you get admission in subjects based on your score and choice.
