what to do in psychology after 12th to become a psychologist in future
Hi there.
The study of human behaviour and mental processes is known as psychology. It investigates a person's actions, reactions, and emotions. Understanding if such behaviour exists aids in the treatment of behavioural issues associated with it.
After passing class ten, you cannot become a Psychologist!
To become a licensed psychologist, you must first:
Pass the tenth-plus-two exam with Psychology as a core subject.
Have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (BA or B.Sc).
At the Masters level, you can pursue a Specialization in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling (M.A. or M.Sc.).
Furthermore, you can pursue a doctoral specialisation (Ph.D. or M.Phil).
I did not have a psychology subject in 12th and I am a commerce student, can I start my career as a Psychologist? By doing ba or bsc?
Hey Aspirant!!
The basic BA Psychology eligibility is completing the 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. Students belonging to any stream can apply to the course. There is no minimum age limit for applying for the BA Psychology course. Hence even if you are from Commerce stream you can still get yourself admitted into this course in any renowned Institutions.
Good luck!!!

i completed my 12th as an art student. can I be a forensic psychologist
Dear applicant although Forensic Science course is a combination of law and science together. Forensic science can be learnt from the undergraduate level. The undergraduate programme is for three years, after which the student is provided with a B.Sc. degree. But yes there is chance of studying BA in Psychology as well but to be a forensic psychologist you need to have Science stream in 10+2 as a forensic psychologist is trained in psychology. They assist governments, judiciary and other investigative agencies. So you need B.Sc degree for that, but after your Arts degree you can become a genuine Psychologist.
Good luck!!!!

which branch of psychologist earns the most?
Hello Aspirant,
Psychiatrist
Requiring a very specific trajectory during the educational stage, a psychiatrist has the important responsibility of assigning people diagnoses (based on their evaluations) and making sure that they get the proper medicines.
For the most part, a psychiatrist comes in at a stage when a patient has already gone through various other structures that are designed to support those who are suffering from mental health conditions – a psychiatrist comes into the picture at the last stage of the journey of mental health.
Usually, a psychiatrist is also well versed in certain forms of counselling or therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
It’s not a walk in the park if you want to become a licensed psychiatrist. You have to finish an undergraduate degree in medical school and then do an MPhil from an RCI-licensed college to finally be able to call yourself a psychiatrist.
Typically, salaries from psychiatrists average around (https://www.payscale.com/research/IN/Job=Psychiatrist/Salary) Rs.479,916per year.
