Ravenshaw University is a co-educational state university which is located in Cuttack, Odisha . The institute was founded in the year 1868 , and further, it became a university the year 2006 . The university is approved by UGC and NAAC which adds up to the value of the university in terms of education and quality.

There are 27 streams or departments of subjects like language, earth science, arts, commerce, computer science, IT and software, mathematical science , etc. in which 20 courses have post-graduation programs, 14 research departments, and 27 undergraduate courses and programs.
