should wo answer varc section before reading the passage?
There are 2 rules when we attempt VARC section.
Rule no:1: Never answer a question before reading the question. No matter whether we have speaking in English all our life or we have been religiously following Shahsi Tharoor on Twitter, there is a whole lot that we need to learn and one of them is English is a complicated language.
Rule no: 2: Never break Rule no.1. We go to the exam hall with confidence because we have grown up speaking in English all our lives. And the Question might be "Who is NOT the current Prime Minister of India and you are given 4 options. Now the brain is a tricky organ. It picks what it wants to leaves what it feels is unncecessary. We know the answer that Mr. Modi is the Prime Minister of India and we do not waste any further time in choosing the option against Mr. Modi's name. Now what did you miss by not reading the question? "NOT" That single word changes the answer in a whole different way and lets say even if you attempt 5 such questions from VARC, am afraid it is a dent in your score. So never read the answers and assume the question. That is one of the most deterrent way to lose out on marks.
Here, we shall try to help you to prepare for VARC section effectively.

How can I make my mind sharp, I cant remember what I read
hey,for jee mains if i am reading my coaching notes and previous years question.it is enough or anything else.
Hello, as you join coaching, they will provide you notes on syllabus topics only. So I thought it is sufficient to study coaching notes. And along with this, you are solving previous year question paper, it is good thing. But try to solve many question papers as you can, and try to solve by setting time, so that you can prepare yourself for time management. Because this is most important to clear this entrance exam.
I hope it will help you.
thanks.
I have been reading about the course not having a AICTE accredition, wont that affect the value of the course?
Hi Pushan,
I understand that you are interested about some course at SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Mumbai and have noticed that the course is not accredited by AICTE and so to answer your question I would like to advise you that you please do not take this particular course into consideration as most of the organizations do make a note of the fact that whether the candidate has studied from an AICTE approved college or not while placements or during employment as they take this matter into significant consideration.
BEST WISHES!
JOB opportunity after reading bsc from bhu?
If you will get placement then its good but its highly unlikely because these days one cannot get a good job based on a bachelor's degree regardless of whatever college you read except some DU colleges. You will have opportunities as you will a BHU brand tag but you will have to prove your worth. After your B.Sc. you can go for further studies like M.Sc or something else but if not then you will have various options of government exams like SSC,Railways,Defence,UPSC,DRDO,ISRO etc.You can appear in these exams and if you will get a rank then you will be selected.
I hope this helps.
I get confused with gate preparation what should I do first understanding the concepts or analysis of question papers or reading reference books which are bit difficult but I cant understand which topics are important and which not or I should do firstly watching YouTube video for better .
Hi Darshana!
Before starting preparation first you should know the exam pattern and proper weightage for all the concepts. This can be known by analysing the previous year papers. Then for starting first find the best books and if you are interested in coaching you can find best coaching centers or you can apply for coaching online also there they will let you know the important topics or else to prepare without coaching then you need to have a proper plan checkout these links given below for further queries:

yesterday IEO result has been declared.my daughter is reading in class2 sec.A scoring 20 and got the rank 4 in school.her friend is reading also in class 2 sec.B scoring 17 and got the rank 3 in school.both are the student of KVNo.2 balangir, odisha.how is it possible sir?
It is good to hear that your daughter is taking part in olympiads from such a little age. There are some factors which affect the rank in these olympiads, one of them is alphabetic order of the name. Also, sometimes there is some mistake in the omr that gets neglected. I'd say don't take stress because she's at a very tender age and you should just motivate her instead of comparing her with other students.
