Am I eligible for UGC net if have done M.sc in (Renewable energy & environment) from IGNOU?
Hello Aspirant
The eligibility criteria for UGC NET is that you need to be in a Master's program from a UGC-recognized College/University, be it 1st semester or last semester, there's no restriction on it. You need to check if the subject that you're doing your master's in, is actually a paper in the UGC NET exam. IGNOU is a well-recognised university and you are eligible to apply for UGC NET
Hope this helps
I want to take admission in M.tech Renewable Energy bt I not B.tech ..I have done BSC in Solar Energy.. can I do M.Tech Renewable Energy from your college
Hello,
Yes, one can pursue MTech after successful completion of a BSc degree if the course is of 4-year long duration. But if one has completed BSc with a 3-year undergraduate degree then students need to complete their MSc. first before applying for MTech.
The eligibility for Mtech in renewable energy are required to secure at least 50% aggregate in B.E/B.Tech from a recognised institution.( For IIT and UPES, the minimum percentage required is 60% in Bachelor’s Degree).
Hope it helps. Best of luck!
Can I be eligible for UGC NET ENVIRONMENT SCIENCE after M. tech. in Renewable energy sources (Agrilculture engineering)?
Hello,
Yes you are eligible for UGC NET ENVIRONMENT SCIENCE exam after completing M-Tech in Renewable energy sources i.e., Agricultural Engineering. You can definitely give this exam as you have completed the masters in the related subject or stream.
Hope this has cleared your doubts. Thank you.

what is the cutoff for b tech in renewable energy in upeseat
Hi there,
It is hard to predict the branch-wise cutoff as it depends on the no. of candidates who are shortlisted for counseling. You will be able to secure a particular branch based on your UPESEAT rank and your board PCM percentage. The better the rank, the more likely you are to secure the branch of your choice.
NOTE: There are also other factors to take into account, like vacant seats (if not enough seats, you will put on a waitlist), in case two people have the same UPESEAT rank- in this case, a better PCM percentage candidate will be prioritized.

I am interested in Renewable energy what courses should i do after my 12th standard?
Mainly if you want to focus on the applied portions of Renewable energy then you have to pursue engineering courses like BTech Mechanical Engineering, EEE further with a MTech in Renewable Engineering. Now if you want to work in Photovoltaics, Quantum Photoelectronics etc then Physics/ Chemistry followed a MSc-phD program can be a great option for you.
