what is salary of a robotics undergraduate and salary of a cs undergraduate in US?
Hello,
The average salary in United States for a robotics engineer with a bachelor's degree in the field is USD 74,000, compared to USD 86,000 netted by a professional with a master's degree in the field and the average early career salary of CS undergraduate is USD 68,600 whereas a mid-career salary is USD 114,700.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
i want to study robotics. i like it. i also like computer science. what should I take, robotics or computer science?
Hello candidate,
Let me give you brief description about this courses, which might help you to take the final call!!
Robotics is a branch of science which deals with man made for artificial machines which can operate on human demand and its instructions as per needed. Computer science a branch of science that deals with computer application and software programs needed to carry out a task in the digital world.
talking about the packages and opportunities about both the streams, computer science has a upper Hand in terms of monetary gains as per the recent trends, robotics also has a very high demand in the near future. Take your decision wisely.
Hope it helps!!
what is salary of a cs undergraduate in Carnegie Mellon and salary of robotics undergraduate in Carnegie Mellon?
Hello,
Computer science majors who earn their Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon go on to jobs where they make a median salary of USD 138,900 a year. This is higher than USD 63,700, which is the national median of all CS Bachelor's degree recipients and for robotics undergraduate it is USD 79712.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
what is salary of a cs undergraduate in Carnegie Mellon and salary of a robotics undergraduate in Carnegie Mellon in us?
The median salary could be 138,900 USD per annum which is higher than that of USD 63,000 of other universities. Placements of students can also vary from student to student as it depends on their skill set and knowledge of the subject and their performances in the interview as well.
what is salary of robotics undergraduate in US?
Hello candidate,
Countries such as the United States heavily invest in the research and development field, as they want to be the super powers of Technology of any kind.
The salary for undergraduates in robotics in US is around 75000 dollars per annum, and for postgraduates or Masters course, the salary is about $85000 on a yearly basis.
Hope that this answer helps you. Have a good day!!
i am in 12th grade.i will undergraduation in US.i want to do robotics.but everyone is saying me to study computer science.because robotics jobs salary is very low.but studying CS will get you more salary than robotics.so what should i choose, my dream or something that gives more salary?
You should live for your dream. Robotics may offer less salary but its not that you will be unemployed. So believe in yourself and live your dream.
I wish you all the very best for your future endeavors!

which course in aerospace engeering include complete robotics
Hello Kamalaksh!
Mechanical engineering is a branch in engineering in which you will find the inclusion of both robotics and aerospace engineering. If Mechanical engineering is a set, then aerospace engineering is a subset of MechE. On the other hand, if you emphasise over universities in USA, they also specialize over space robotics in aerospace engineering curriculum but it is rare in Indian colleges.
If you are more interested in robotics, then go for Mech engineering. But if you want to specialize in aeronautics then stay restricted to aerospace engineering. Aerospace engineering will more deal with aerospace specific topics, like propulsion, guidance and aerodynamics, rather than robotics. You can specialize in mechatronics in mechanical engineering which also extends to space control sytems. So the choice lies in your hands.
Hope you understood.
i am interested in both aerospace as well as robotics is there a field to learn both as an undergraduate program
Hello Kamalaksh!
Mechanical engineering would be a suitable choice for you considering your preferences. First you can go for B.Tech Mech engineering and then M.Tech Aerospace engineering. Mechanical engineering specializes broadly in robotics and mildly in aeronautics. Take aerospace engineering or avionics as a specialization whike B.Tech MechE and you will get what you need. But in B.Tech Aerospace engineering, you can not find much scope to expertise in robotics in India.
So in my opinion, a B.Tech degree in Mechanical engineering will be suitable for you to find jobs and research in robotics and mechatronics field. Then, if you wish to find jobs in aerospace field, you can find one after M.Tech/M.S in Aerospace engineering. But if you go for Aerospace engineering, your job and research opportunities will be limited only in aerospace related area.
Hope you are clear!
