If you have ews certificate with your oc category then might have chances in getting the seat in mechanical branch because of tough competition as it is one of the top colleges so you need to have ews certificate as you don't have any reservations with you if have any reservations then you might have high chances.

Both SRKR and GMRI are good colleges but I would prefer you to choose SRKR engineering college. It has very good infrastructure and faculty. Even the placement record is pretty good with maximim of 70% of students getting placed last year. Companies such as TCS,Infosys,Value Labs,Rukta visit the college for placements. It has been announced that Gayatri College and SRKR College will be participating in the 2nd round of counselling for ECE so as to fill seats of students who have withdrawn or forfeited seat.
