- A valid Indian passport is a must for candidates appearing for the test
is 1370 in sat enough to get admitted in nmims mumbai campus for BSc.Economics?
Hi there,
You have a decent score. But there are also other details that the colleges look into while admitting a candidate, as their academic performance over the years, extra-curricular activities, recommendations, and college essays.
Now what score will get you into NMIMS cannot be predicted as the college does not release any official cut-off for SAT. A merit list is prepared based on the performance of candidates in SAT. Other eligibility criteria include that a candidate needs to have at least 60 percent in 12 th with Maths or statistics as mandatory subjects.
You can, however, register and hope for the best!

hey i want to apply for KGSP scholarship. so is giving SAT exam beneficial for me ?
Hi,
Well consider that you want to apply for KGSP scholarship and asking about SAT, I am assuming you to be looking for undergraduate studies. For undergraduate students, colleges in Korea usually don't make it mandatory to submit SAT or other exams like IELTS but it's always a plus point if you submit test scores. You are given preferably over students who don't submit scores. But eligibility wise, it is not mandatory to get admission or to apply under the KGSP scholarship.
I hope this helps.
All the best.

Hi, But I believe they consider SAT subject scores, not SAT 1 scores.
Do you have SAT subject scores? And by the way, did you apply for IIIT hyderabad with SAT score. You have fair chances there.
Does SRM accept admission based on SAT score
Hello aspirant,
Students can choose to apply either by SAT score or can appear for the SRMJEEE administered by the University for the admission in the college. The SAT score is accepted for the Regular Admissions by the college. The cut-off score for SAT will be decided with the shortlisting criteria for Undergraduate admissions. Eligible candidates will be straightaway invited for the personal interviews.
Currently, the SAT is administered 4 times in a year (May, October, December and March) in over 40 cities and 80 test centers all over the country.
Hope this helps,
All the Best!!
Do 9th marks really matter in getting an lvy league colleges. l only have 10th , 11th, 12th marks with me. l have Kerala state syllabus where 9 th grade marks isnt given any importance . What should l do? And what are syllabus for SAT?
Hi,
Well usually high school marks are submitted. In India high school is for 11th and 12th only but you need to submit marks from 9th to 12th. Also depends on what each college asks for. As far as SAT is concerned, it is an aptitude test where there is no particular syllabus. It includes questions from English grammar and composition along with mathematics and data interpretation.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
I got 92.5% in class 9th, 93.4% in class 10th, 78.4% in class 11th, and Im awaiting my class 12th results. Ive cleared Pre-RMO during my class 10th. Will such academic credentials be considerable for foreign universities? I plan to sit for SAT and ACT in near future. Whatll be a safe score for me
Hi There,
Foreign universities consider many factors before admitting a candidate. Your SAT score depends on the national average. As per the statistics, the year 2018 had an average score of 1068. So how much should you score? If your score is well above this average, the more likely it is for you to get the college of your choice.
Even if a candidate scores below this average number, it can be compensated by a standout college application. So what should a college application entail?
Your college application should traverse through your high school career path. Good grades, achievements, extracurricular activities, etc., Therefore, your Pre-RMO is certainly an achievement, so yes it can be added to your college application.
But even if you into a college with a low score some colleges might ask you to enroll in some courses initially (to test the college readiness of a candidate).
Now, extracurricular activities play an important part in your college application as the admission officer’s critiques them thoroughly. It is solely done to know a candidate better, their personality and the things that they care about. Extra curricular activities usually involve any volunteer work, leadership qualities (if you were the school captain or something along those lines).
Talking about the safe score, we shouldn’t just depend on making our college application perfect. Your score on the standardized tests is as much important as other factors, so do no neglect that. The higher your score, the better are your chance of you getting the college of your choice. Usually, the colleges accept candidates that have a score between the 25 th and 75 th percentile.
You can search for the colleges of your choice here: https://www.princetonreview.com/college-education
Figuratively speaking, your SAT score should be anything above 1200 and ACT scores anything above 24. But it’s always best to aim higher and give it your best shot, because you’ll have a myriad of college options to choose from.

Sir i went through the link that u had provided in my previous question for aerospace engineering in which it ismentioned that candidates are required to pass exams like jee mains or jee advanced for btech. Will my WBJEE marks taken into consideration as I havent sat for either of the two exams?
WBJEE stand for west bengal joint entrance exam, it is a state level entrance exam and it is conducted for admission in B.Tech courses in collages that are situated in West Bengal. There are few colleges in West Bengal that offer B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, but none od them accept Wbjee score
