According to the information available in fee brochure for SavitriBai Phule University, Pune for the academic session 2021-22, the tuition fee for MSc Microbiology was 13,500 Rupees and the laboratory fee was 28,600 Rupees.

** Total fee for MSc Microbiology = 13,500 + 28,600 = 42,100 Rupees.

*** Also, for every session thereis a certain amount of fee increment. So, the fee must have been increased around 48,000 Rupees. But there is no certain information as the fee brochure for session 2022-23 has not been released yet.

Any candidate with BSc degree  stream  even with biotechnology can take admission in MSC bioinformatics course if he or she has 50% marks in BSC degree

For taking admission in MSC bioinformatics course in Savitribai Phule University Pune Maharashtra with chemistry physics biology botany zoology e for BSC biotechnology course also. Candidates have to go for an entrance test which is taken and conducted by Savitribai Phule University respected department. In MSC bioinformatics course is is taken on the basis of marks in qualifying insulation and entrance examination also.

SPPU (Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune) conducts an entrance exam to give admission to MSc in drug chemistry.

Admission to the students offered on the basis of BSc chemistry marks and entrance test and weightage is given equally to both of these.

Other than that, the basic eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have passed Post-Graduate (Physics-chemistry-English) from recognized university.

The entrance test is expected to be held in May/June.

The admission for MSc Biotechnology is conducted through the centralized Combined Entrance Examination (CEEB) which is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University JNU), New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria - Candidates should have passed or appearing for (BSc) are eligible to apply.

Syllabus:

The 2 hours based entrance in Savitribai Phule Pune University named OEE is conducted. The test will be of 100 marks. There will be 2 sections:

Section A will have questions on general knowledge, aptitude, logic, and comprehension for 20 marks.

Section B will have subject-specific questions for 80 marks. So, in section B you will be asked questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The questions will mainly be what you have studied in class 11 and 12th.
