National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur recognises and provides the following scholarships—Special Scholarship Scheme for Jammu & Kashmir, Foundation for Academic excellence and access, Welfare department, Governmentt of Jharkhand, National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation, NTPC scholarship for engineering students, Indian Oil Educational Scholarship Scheme, Post-Matric Scholarships for Students belonging to the Minority Communities, Scholarship of ONGC limited, Dehradun, O.P. Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarships (OPJEMS), CDIF Scholarship Program TATA CUMMINS and Merit Cum Means Scholarship.

GLA University offers scholarships to the meritorious and deserving students. B.Tech students are given GLA scholarships based on percentages acheived in 12th standard PCM. Candidates with 95 to 100% marks in 12th PCM receive Rs. 60,000 scholarship amount whereas students with 90-94.99% marks receive Rs. 33,000 scholarship amount. However, there are more scholarships available for Pharmacy or Ph.D. students and other course students.

IMI Bhubaneswar offers scholarships to students enrolled in Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) programmes. Scholarships are offered to students who have a good academic record at the International Management Institute Bhubaneswar. CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT scores determine a student's eligibility for scholarships at the International Management Institute. The institute offers an extra 20% merit scholarship to female students. International Management Institute Bhubaneswar scholarships can also be availed of by students from a defence background and students whose parents are martyrs. Students who are successfully enrolled in the FPM programme are provided with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month for 2 years. As per the IMI Bhubaneswar scholarship policy, FPM students can also avail a contingency allowance of Rs. 20,000 per year and Rs. 50,000 (upper limit) for attending seminars/workshops during the entire duration of the FPM programme.

ITM provides iFirst scholarship to students who cleared the admission process. Candidates need to take a test conducted by ITM eligibility for which they should have passed one of these exams, CAT,XAT,CMAT,GMAT, MAT,ATMA. Should have a minimum 50% in graduation.

Scholarships is offered to the candidates who are from backward category such as scheduled castes, tribal castes and economically backward. The candidates can also get scholarship based on the rank they are scoring in entrance exams conducted by various institutes and universities.
