i belong to LC category and can i get admission for mbbs in any self financing colleges in kerala... with a rank of 18520 in keam..do Lc category have any type of special reservations?
hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
I would like to tell you that there is no LC Category reservation in KEAM.
Class based reservation of seats in KEAM 2022 is only applicable for candidates that qualify as Keralites
.
Further, i would like to tell you that you can get admission in self financing colleges in kerela through KEAM. Some of the seats on offer through KEAM 2021 are meant for reserved category candidates as per norms of the state government. To qualify and thereby become eligible to figure in the rank list for MBBS, candidates must obtain
a minimum of 50th percentile in NEET UG 2021
.
Further, the KEAM cutoff varies every year and is differemt for different category student. It depends on various factors like ;
-
Difficulty level of KEAM 2022.
-
Total Number of Seats Available.
-
Total Number of Applications Received.
-
Previous Years Cutoff Trends.
Further, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about the KEAM Cutoff trends : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/keam-cutoff
I hope that this will help.

Hello,
NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.
To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-
• Number of applicants in NEET exam
• NEET question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result
• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021
NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-
• General /EWS- 50th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
• General-PwD - 45th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile
Marks wise cut off is as following-
• General - 720-138
• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108
• Gen PwD - 137-122
• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108
Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.
