For sastra there is no Cutoff. It is based on 12th percentage and jee main mark(sastra will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+jee main mark * 0.25)  total 165. Out of 165 what is your marks, based on that they will give the seat.

Yes , you can still get admission in Sastra university if even you have not given JEE MAINS .You need to fill the application form under stream 2 until June 9,2018 and then ,you can get admission on the basis of your marks obtained in university qualifying exam . It's just ranks no specific cut-offs.If you're from Tamil Nadu you need to be within 700 ranks to make sure that everything is available for you in stream.As far as stream to you score  will need to be 97% plus to get a core group but finally it is based on your rank.

Sastra University follows the below-mentioned parameters of eligibility on the basis of which candidates will be taken into consideration:

*Nationality

*Qualifying exam marks and subjects

*Age limit

*JEE Main scores

Qualifying exam marks and subjects –

*Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized State or Central Board or any other accepted by Sastra.

*Candidates must have passed the examination with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following as the third subject - Chemistry/ Bio‐Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology.

*Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Bio‐Technology / Computer Science/ Biology in aggregate in a single sitting.

*In case of vocational subjects, the eligibility will be based on the theory subjects opted.

Candidates will be given admission to B.Tech programmes in Sastra University for 2 streams:

*Under stream 1, 70% seats will be filled and for that candidates JEE Main scores(74-100) and 10+2 or equivalent examination normalized scores will be taken into consideration.

*Under stream 2, remaining 30% seats will be filled and for that candidates' normalized scores of 10+2 or any equivalent examination will be considered.

10+2 percentage is more important than JEE Main marks.
