sastra takes the admission with 2 streams i.e

B.Tech admission 2018 in Sastra University will follow the procedure mentioned below:

Stream 1:

JEE Main 2018 and normalized 10+2 scores will be taken together for admission under stream 1

The scores of JEE Main will carry 25% weightage and 10+2 scores will carry 75% weightage.

The combined scores will be used to prepare the rank list and candidates will be invited for admission on the basis of the rank list.

70% of seats will be filled under stream 1.

Stream 2:

Candidates will be considered for admission based on their normalised aggregate 10+2 or any equivalent exam scores.

30% of seats will be filled under stream 2.

Dear Nikhil,

Sastra University provides admission in two ways

1) Stream 1- (Based on JEE Main and +2 marks) for 70% seats.

2) Stream 2- (Based on +2 marks) for 30% seats.

In stream 1 the weightage for JEE main score and for +2 marks will be 25% &75% respectively.

Sastra application forms are already out. Last date to fill application form is 9th June 2018.

In Sastra university, 70% seats will be filled based on JEE Main 2018 scores of the candidates along with 10+2 or any equivalent examination normalized scores and remaining 30% seats will be filled based on candidates' 10+2 or any equivalent examination scores (after normalization).

Why are you thinking about private colleges dear.

You will get best government college with nominal fee.

If you are OBC/SC/ST then you have chances to get NITs/IIITs.

You can also do counselling in Haryana,Punjab,West Bengal,UP,MP etc you will get best government college. Contect some counsellor.

Don't wait, it's late.

Jamia Milia Islamia will be your best choice. This college increase its reputation day to day.

Don't think that only muslims are there. No dear, so many hindu brothers and sisters study there. Fee structure of JMI is very low.
